I was just going to say that I wonder what the thought process behind giving us a powerful weapon as an early prize was, then I remembered that JS haven't exactly gained a name for themselves for making sensible well-thought-out decisions about things like this, have they.

Nope, as long as it's ten fights you'll get the boons. You can even fight the same opponent ten times on easy and you'll get them!

Has anyone else noticed that neither the Bargain Stocks or full list pages are showing up anymore?

I see people on the boards calling for TNT to downgrade the weapons... they think it's giving too much damage and making it too easy for the plebs to win . Someone did note that the weapons may only give high damage to wraiths tho....

No sight of Wraith Ectoplasm yet but the spear is really good, delivering 18–22 icons. The staff also deals 13, so there's two free constants for the plot.

It will definitely be a Battledome related plot, but I hope it has puzzles and stuff too. A little bit of everything. It's been speculated that the plot will begin today, possibly at news time judging on previous patterns as well as the tidbit from the News today. Just have to wait and see. I use the bargain stocks list (http://www.neopets.com/stockmarket.phtml?type=list&bargain=true) and I normally choose the company with the highest volume selling over 15 np (since you can't buy below 15 np) and buy my 1000 shares daily. Now that I have shares of 30+ companies I usually look at the stocks I have and buy 1000 more shares of something I have that's between 15-20 np. I hang onto my shares until they hit +300%. I'm always tempted to sell lower but I prefer to stick to my 300% rule. Everything goes up eventually! Right now my portfolio is trash but I'm hoping it turns around someday soon haha. Buy at 15 and sell at 60+ is always a good starting point. When you say new, how new are we talking here?
