My daughter and I joined Neopets one night in I think '04 because we were bored. Little did I know . . . it was one of my main play outlets during my dissertation. Then life went all to heck for a while & I drifted away from my pets and fat bank account and carefully acquired STUFF. I would check in every year or so, but weirdly it took Flight Rising to bring me back--I was having fun over there, and it made me homesick for Neopia.
tl;dr: I was away for 8+ years, but came back. Woohoo!
And thanks to the nice people on the forum who diagnosed my Flash problem!

Me neither! Also I completely changed my mind about trying for a trophy when I saw the kind of scores I'd have to gain.   That's way more neggsweeper than I'm willing to play, lol.

yesterday i played Smug Bug Smite A LOT and managed to equalize my previous HS of 636 
but this time i got a bronze trophy and im really happy to get it because i hate these two smug bugs with a passion esp. when they jump up and steal my NP
also i just won 100:10 in Food Club

I've not been around for a while, so I'm guessing a lot here won't know me - my name is Izzy, and I'm the graphic creator behind TDN Graphics :)  I have been poofy for the last year or so due to life stuff (exams ugh), but I would like to get back into adding new layouts to the site.
For this, I want YOUR suggestions.  I won't automatically make every one, but I will try if its possible.  Keep in mind I am still a full-time Emergency Doctor offline and work quite long hours.  Suggestions won't get made instantly so manners and patience are essential.
Guidelines for suggestions:
Neopets themes only State if you want a User Lookup, Pet Lookup or Gallery Layout Be specific with images if you want - but keep in mind very small images are hard to work with Alternatively, if you just want something general (say Lutari User Lookup) then thats fine too! If there is a style you particularly like on the site already, you can request that the theme be made in that style - I will try to work to this if its possible Only one suggestion per post, per user - if I make yours, you may submit another suggestion after than I am open to making a "custom" version of the requested theme just for you - with your name/username/petname on it - if you write that in your original suggestion post.  Remember there will always be a generic version on the site for others to use however.
Eventually I will add Guild, Shop and Petpage layouts to this but there is some back-end stuff we need to sort first.  Please do not post asking for those in this thread.

Please don't feel out of place! There's not a huge amount of us who actively post on here, so it's great to see a new face.
I'm hopeful that the complaining you see is just a small percentage of people, and that most Neopians are of the silent majority that don't feel strongly enough about anything to publicly complain. It's a sad fact that people are more likely to make the effort to complain than to praise, must be the way we're wired.
I notice I've been harder to please than normal, but maybe it's because of disappointment at the Faerie Festival after looking forward to it so much. I was so hopeful that that would be something that both didn't go hideously wrong, and that people enjoyed so they'd start to feel more positive about JS, but that didn't happen so my grouch level increased.
I'm over that now though, onwards and upwards!

I feel bad for them, I've noticed people complaining on the neoboards about most things, and I know I am new and no expert but it seems like they do things and people complain and when they don't do things, people complain. They seem to be in a lose/lose situation from where I'm sitting. While I agree that they shouldn't make an item that costs real money available as a NP item because there is no point in paying money for it in the end, maybe they are super short staffed? Just my thoughts, sorry if I'm out of place as a newbie here.
