The second person is correct. You cannot trade or pound lutari's at all; they will run away. This is the only species that will do this.
 
I would stop dealing with these people as they are trying very hard to break Neopets rules in order to obtain the Lutari. You cannot share or give away accounts, under any circumstances, nor can you trade neopoints or items for a pet (lutari or not). Both of those are very strict Neopets rules.
 
In the end, there is nothing you can do with the lutari species itself aside from keep it or morph it into another species if the user likes the name and wants it that badly.
 
Besides if they are willing to pay NPs for it, they may as well just buy a lutari morphing potion and create their own lutari. It's their only option at this time.

You could also put a small explanation of what happened on the page with your wishlist. Something like (item1 and item 2 given bya  very generous person whose name I didn't quite catch because the page changed too quickly)
 
But worded BETTER than that! It'd be nice if they could/would reach out to you IF they saw that. Stinks when this kind of situation happens. :-\

Wow! Woo-Hoo!!! Like misparky mentioned, this avatar was a challenge to get, especially with Shockwave and not seeing part of the screen, but, finally!!!

Hi Kleig, welcome to TDN!

That is one EXPENSIVE set! And unfortunately, without training more it won't do you nearly as much good if your strength isn't higher.
Are you familiar with TDN's battlepedia? We have some wonderful articles there, as well as MASSIVE weapons that have been logged and many even reviewed by the staff.

I don't know how familiar you are with the BD, but a review of the strength and defense boosts might be useful. Basically, when your strength and defense reach certain stat numbers, you get what is called a Boost. This boost, acts like a damage Multiplier. The equation is basically.... Icons the weapon does in damage, multiplied by the boost, = total/maximum damage you can do. If the opponent defends with the right equipment to counter your set, then of course the damage will be less than the maximum number of Icons x Boost = damage.
 
I say this a lot, but it bears repeating sometimes. I have but one Hidden Tower weapon. The Ghostkerbomb. My best constant attacker is Stone Foam Finger. But because my strength reached the maximum numbers for the final boost, 750, The Stone Foam Finger does 240 damage if it's not blocked. So, 15 icons x boost of 16 = 240 damage.
 
As you train, you will probably be amazed at how much damage you can inflict as your strength rises. Defense, well some don't think it's very useful if they focus on Strength and HP. I'd disagree. I keep training Str, Def and HP. LOL You never know, TNT might someday add more boosts. ;)
 
Honestly? If I were lucky enough to have a Faerie Slingshot, I'd probably keep it until something REALLY AWESOME came around that I'd want.
 
I was checking on the TP, and there are multiple FSS, but only one seems to have a price, and it looks like they want about 61 mil for it.
 
FSS IS pretty rare, since I believe it's components are also retired. But it's up to you if you want to sell or trade. If the FSS is worth about 61 mil. You should check the Trading Post and see what the items you were offered add up to in NP value.
 
I see you've got Sword of Lameness in your set already. So I would wonder why you'd consider an offer that includes another one?
 
Anyway, the G-Sword is of course retired, I've never used one, but it's stats in the BP are quite impressive.
 
If that is your whole set that you've listed. You may consider getting a G-bomb, or a healer, or a freezer, if you do decide to sell or trade the FSS.

On-Topic: Instead of the shields, you could go with a Freezing weapon, then you'd have 2 free rounds. Well, more like one and a half free rounds. ;) Round 1: Lens Flare + BoD + Freezer  Round 2: BoD + Scuzzy's Comb + An Icicle.
 
That should help. But if you really want a shield. I'd say, consider which opponents you're going to battle. Here is a link to the challengers profile page.

Then choose the shield that best suits the opponents weaponry that you intend on Fighting. Of course, training will help you win fights too. You may wish to go for something not as expensive as those shields, for a lower level shield, and then use the NP you save for training.

Right now, with your Strength boost. Your Bow of Destiny, if none of it is blocked. It'll do 39 damage. While your Scuzzy's Comb should do 30.
 
Depending on the HP of your opponent, this could also help in determining which opponent you might wish to face. If you keep training, say to the 200 boost. Your Bow of Destiny should go up to 59 damage, according to the damage calculator, and Scuzzys Comb will go up to 45 damage. These are the maximum of damage those weapons with the boost at 200 will do, provided they aren't blocked. Also, An Icicle will do a bit of damage too.
 
I've always been a frugal battler. So since you said your income of NP is limited right now. It might be better to go with a cheaper path to battling.  If you can handle Jelly Chia, I would recommend him. Lots of junk Spooky Food,m but he will give you codestones and faeries. For defense, I'd suggest the Leaf Shield, since most of his weapons consist of Earth, Water and Physical icons. But also, you may consider a Golden Compass. I know it's weaker than your Scuzzys Comb, but if needed, the icons of dark defense will help on the chance that he uses his Evil Snowball. Which does a few icons of dark as well as water and physical.

Some of you might remember me from a while ago, I used to be very active on Neo and TDN :) Unfortunately about 18 months ago I got frozen for cheating and I pretty much immediately left Neopets. I wrote a very detailed ticket and posted various things in there from me and other people about why it was total hogwash, but I was so upset I couldn't continue on another account - I'd worked way too hard to start all over again.
 
I found myself getting a bit teary this evening thinking about how lovely it was on here around December and how it made me feel like I was in a proper community, so I added an extra message to my ticket in what I imagine is probably a vain hope.
 
I wondered if anyone here has been frozen before and how long it took to get your account back, if you did?

I've been able to use Internet Explorer 11 and the last version of Safari for Windows, on my Windows 7 computer, to play Dice Escape. For Internet Explorer 11, you have to add "neopets.com" (without the quotes) to "Compatibility View Settings". Dice Escape also uses Adobe Shockwave. For some reason, Firefox will let you play the game, but it does not "send" (submit) your score. If you upgraded to Windows 10, you will not be able to use the "Edge" browser, as it does not support other plugins, like Shockwave, but only Flash. However, IE 11 is installed on Windows 10 and can be found in "All Apps". You can also open an IE 11 window from Edge, too. If you can play Dice Escape or Gourmet Club Bowls, those can be "easy" trophies to get, as not many other people can play those games. As mtsparky mentioned, Opera may work, too. I just haven't tried that browser. If you look on the "Games Chat" board on Neopets, I've seen posts asking the same question as you. You might find good links there, too. I wish you all the best in your trophy hunting ventures!

In the Avatar Solutions pop-up window for Plushie Tycoon, I read that "this avatar is currently unobtainable due to server move issue." I received the Plushie Tycoon avatar the first week of October, 2015, so I guess the server move issue has been fixed. I've gotten Sloth! and Kiko Pop! in the past 24 hours. Yay me!
