Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of communication, per my last post the Runway had to be put on hold due to a lot of life circumstances that I was dealing with, you can view that post here. Believe the last time I was able to post an update was back in November. Due to the instability of our situation I was not sure when would be a good time to start the contest back up again as I didn't want to have to start it and then stop it again should we not have a stable internet connection for me to be able to continue to run it. We were able to get put up in a hotel until the end of January (but during the whole process it was unknown just how long we'd be there.) with some help, luckily around the end of our stay and beginning of Feb we purchased a home on a land contract. We are currently there and will be staying here indefinitely. It's unfortunate that the home needs a lot of repairs (such as HVAC can't be ran due to asbestos, the hot water heater is rusted and in bad condition which meant it had to be removed and the kitchen is gutted), however we got a great deal on it, it's a work in progress, but it's shelter. I don't believe I mentioned this before because we did not know when I first posted about the hold of the contest back in September, but we are also expecting our first child this May. So there may be a period of time during that month where the contest will not be ran, but will start back up again after I've recovered from that adjusted to that new part of our life haha It's been a very hard few months for us and we're currently just trying to re-build, we had to give up a lot of our possessions when we lost our home but are slowly getting things back, like furniture and appliances, so we're getting there VERY slowly, but surely! I appreciate the patience from everyone! I will officially be starting it back up come the 16th of this month and it will be going sometime up until I've had our baby in May which will bring another pause, but shorter this time! Hope everyone is doing well! Excited to have it going again!

Geez! I sold BUZZ for 515k today! bummed I only had 1000 shares xD

I think the real point is rather users knew or not or utilized the feature (Yes it's a feature and I refuse to acknowledge that is was an "exploit) TNT made some horrible decisions during this process; Chose to remove it after a year and a half of it being there. Remove the skip quest button and claim it had nothing to do with said feature even though it CLEARY DID (who would skip a quest if going for an item was your only choice? Yeah, exactly.) Remove it abruptly with no announcement or explanation as to WHY this was the case. Lie to multiple users, THOUSANDS, in tickets stating it was a "site bug" and being worked on and would be fixed. Then turn around and essentially call the entire community cheaters by using an "exploit". I've seen many users give their opinion on this topic but I think my favorite so far and honestly the most accurate about how I feel is that so many of us have stuck around with Neopets through the years, we stayed through a broken/laggy site, the NFT fiasco, other horribly mismanaged decisions, paying and supporting a site we love in hopes that it would stay around because we cared about it. The least they could do is respect us. So many of us have put hundreds to thousands of dollars into this site through premium & purchase of NC to keep it alive and support it and they want to turn around and call us exploiters and lie straight to our faces? Nuh uh. I've always been pretty big on support for TNT and think that some people can be too hard. So many people complained about the items in the Quest Log deflating their mass hoarded collection of items that they purposefully inflated to make a profit. Then you got people complaining about premium exclusive prizes in events or that event prizes are too OP and "you poooors are getting items you were never meant to have.". I found that all ridiculous. What TNT WAS doing was trying to fight the snipers/inflators and make some stamps, items or collectibles more obtainable and it was working! It was actually helping the inflation. It still took some work, logging in everyday, sometimes even having to buy the rest of the Weekly Streak prize items in the pool to get everything you wanted. I was still spending 2m+ on stamps here and there toward the end of the rotation, so people were still making a profit, but I wasn't sinking 200m per stamp. However, lying and straight up insulting the community is NEVER okay. Especially when so many of us loyal players have been around despite people leaving and other people's backlash.

There been a few items I've spent millions on to add to my Faerie Gallery or a stamp for it to just be added to weekly quest or daily quests, or even an event later. The Krawk petpet was in the very first pool of Weekly quest items and I got one from the quests to complete a custom, but got a second to paint it Faerie for my gallery a few months ago cause they are way cheaper than what they originally were, down to like 1m ish from being almost over 40m previously. Then this next pool of items puts it in the daily quests xD my advice is anything over 1m or that is UB just wait, I highly anticipate it will eventually be some event prize or in a weekly or daily prize pool. I'm just waiting to see the SuAP show up for something xD

I'm sure it'll be something someone wants if they collect Borovan things, but I found it to be a very odd prize for a majority of people, cause it's not like a gourmet food or anything, only thing I can see is holding onto it until it's no longer available years from now after everyone tossed theirs and it's worth something xD

I completely understand your frustration, and I think it's important to acknowledge the broader implications of TNT's recent decisions. Releasing the stamp just two days after the prize shop opened felt unfair, especially after they encouraged players to spend their points. Many of us had been tracking the shop and had already made purchases under the impression that the offerings were final. It's worth noting that players who dedicated a lot of time and effort to the game should be rewarded. Allowing those who invested significant hours to earn the stamp is a reasonable move, particularly since the value of prizes had already diminished as players rushed to sell their stored items. While I recognize the argument about players with low tier rankings receiving equal treatment, enforcing a fair system could be tricky. Perhaps the best approach would be to ensure that only those who genuinely earned the points equal to the stamp—through consistent gameplay—would qualify for the stamp. Ultimately, TNT is trying to strike a balance between player satisfaction and fairness. It's clear they can’t please everyone, but I believe this decision was a step towards honoring those who committed time and effort to the game. They deserve recognition, especially after the confusion created by the timing of the new item release. It's about acknowledging the dedication of the player base and making sure that hard work is rewarded, even in the face of miscommunication.
