Does anyone know if it's still possible to attach a petpetpet if the petpet that you intend to attach it to has been turned into a pile of soot by the lab ray?

I'm tempted to assume that, yes, it's still possible but I don't really want to spend any neopoints on a  petpetpet until I know for sure. Thank you in advance! uvu

I'm not sure how many of you will remember me but I'm finally back, following the end of a five month hiatus from Neopets (oops).

I'm happy to be back, though, and hoping to be more active (on both here and Neo) once again! uvu

For those I haven't met yet...hi, I'm Wren! I'm a 24 year old tomboyish lady who has been on neo on and off for a long time,

although I didn't get back into it seriously until a few years ago. Most of my time is spent drawing and customizing

my pets, lurking on the art chat/guild boards, and working on procrastinating on pet development type stuff.

Hey all, it's been a while! I haven't been too active on neo since the big move so I'm not entirely caught up with what has been fixed and what is messed up still. Do you guys know if it's safe to transfer pets, yet, or if there are still issues with it? With all of the other site issues I've been hearing about I just wanted to be safe. :x

I make the majority of my NPs through Key Quest, and I have a few trusted people that I usually play with so I don't have to worry about quitters. If you decide to play KQ I would strongly recommend sticking to 2-player games, since they're more likely to get a decent prize even if you don't get a gold key.

The battledome can also be a good money-maker, especially if you have Premium (Jetsam Ace, a Premium-only challenger, gives out nerkmids).

The Chocolate Factory avatar. After weeks of trying I haven't even seen any r90 items in there, so I've put it on the back-burner for now while I work on other avatars. :x

After successfully playing through NQII on normal mode I am now starting over again on hard mode. I've got some good guides/walkthroughs bookmarked, but they're all aimed towards folks playing through on normal mode. Can anyone recommend a good walkthrough for playing through on hard mode? Specifically a walkthrough that recomends what level you should be before moving on from each area/fighting each boss/etc. c:

Thanks in advance! I'd also love any tips that anyone might be able to give me for playing through on hard mode, since this'll be my first time.

That helps a lot! I usually only submit my piece once..figuring if they didn't care for it the first time around there wasn't much use in trying again. I don't really try theme days too often. I think I've only tried entering for one theme day but maybe now I'll try more :)

 

do you know how early before the themed day you submitted it?.

Glad I could help! If you do decide you'd like to try for some of the themed days you can find a calendar of the different Neopian days here.

I'll generally submit things a few days before the date, but a few times I've been running late finishing the picture and ended up not submitting it until the day before. Keep in mind that sometimes they'll celebrate the themed day early if it takes place on a weekend (ex: Koi Day is on the 25th but they updated the news for it on the 23rd), so if that's the case you'll want to be sure to submit your picture before then.

I've gotten into the Art Gallery quite a few times and in my experience I've had a much higher percentage of submissions get into the gallery on themed days (ex: pet days or holidays), versus just submitting randomly. If your picture doesn't make it in, though, don't be afraid to try again later! Many times the art I submitted didn't make it in on themed days so I just waited a few weeks and tried submitting it again. c: For example, I submitted a piece for Valentines day this year but it wasn't accepted so I submitted it again without the Valentines-related text and it made it into the gallery a week later. I think that a lot of times they just get a lot of submissions, and of course they can't accept every submission they get so if you don't make it in one week I definitely recommend trying again later!
