Draik morphing potion - I lucked out recently and got a skunk draik MP. That's the only way that I have any NPs at all because I keep spending them on paint brushes!

This is my first year of doing AC and to be honest, I'm already bored. After two days! You guys who have done it for years all deserve a stealth PB or something. I really dislike the games - especially Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. Nothing like pounding on the keyboard! :/

 

Btw - these ASGs - do they scour the site for the top players and just invite them to join? It is kind of demotivating if that is really the way things work. I mean, I'll play everyday just to get the "participant" thing on my user lookup but I'm not going to put in hours on it. I'll probably do the minimum. Can you imagine little kids who play?! How demotivating for them! Of course little kids are probably playing more intricate and progressive games than Neopets! ha!

The three paths have different ID numbers. When you go to purchase the dress, you can see which ID number you have in your shopping cart. I know with Chrome you highlight the name of the item along with the thumbnail in the shopping cart. Then right click and click on Inspect Element. From there it will show the ID number. That way you won't purchase the same one twice. I can't remember the entire ID number(s) (except the first one is a 7) but the last two are 67, 68 or 69.

Yeah - I'll be rooting for MI. It was them or Maraqua for me but it does seem that MI doesn't get enough love.

I really like him but I'm getting a pet that I want more and I don't want to create another side just for one pet. I tried posting him on the PC but man - unless you have a UC or a really spiffy draik - forget about it.

I like the names that you all have come up with. I mean - "Joe" or "Mary" are fine but kind of - "meh". Rapira, for example, is much more interesting and I like the background on it.

 

I don't get the fascination with three letter/four letter names. Some of them are just dumb. "Mejs" or "Gyk" sound weird but because they are three letters they are more valuable than ____ is my newly adopted pet. She was a meerca but I changed her into a wocky and I'm saving up for a maraquan PB. ;)

 

I've named about half of my pets and I'm happy with all of them.______is my #1 pet and I know his name is not desirable at all but I like it and it's an inside joke at my house. I'm taking French in school so I have named a couple like and . One adopted pet is and I know that's a terrible thing to have a number in the name but I wouldn't trade her for anything.

I JUST did it! I had a Secret Lab map piece that was worth 52,000+ and I accidentally forgot a "0" so someone sniped it for 5,200. Doh!! I wanted to write a note to them to congratulate them (not to harass/badger them) but their mailbox is full. Probably just as well - they might take it as harassment.

 

Oh well - I need to stop losing on at the Food Club in order to make up some of those points!

No problem! I'm glad that they will be put to good use.

 

Those are a lovely shade of purple and with the right outfit could work well. They aren't as versatile as those that you wanted but I'll bet that they would look good. The new prizes seemed to have all the folks on the NC chat boards all excited. They really like the faerie stuff so I think you're right in that if you decide that you don't want them later, someone else will. :)

Not a problem. I'll send them over soon but they'll be coming from my side.

 

Those wings are from the new Wonderclaw prizes, right? Yeah, they have some nice prizes but it is a huge gamble. I tried once to get the sandals from the gypsy portion and wasted 500 in NC on it and still didn't get them. Bah!

I know that there are a lot of pink wigs - true - but this is a pretty nice one. The other thing that I noticed on my pets anyway, is that the wings look somehow off on the four legged pets. They seem to overwhelm the pet. However maybe on a longer legged four legged pet (like a uni) it won't be so bad.

Tell you what - if you haven't already chosen one over the other, get the wig and you can have my wings. I am not going to use them and I'd rather they go to someone who will enjoy them then rot on a trade list. I'll check back here tomorrow or you can always NM me and then I can send them to you.

Okay I need to contact TNT but there is nowhere to do so. When I click on the "Help" button either at the bottom of the page or from my lookup (question mark by my username) it takes me to a page that says it is expired. How does anyone put in a ticket anymore? Maybe they don't want us to contact them anymore. lol..

Maybe they aren't doing it in batches this year because they are short on staff. Hmm... I don't care either way. I think it's great that anyone who wants one will be able to get one.

The skunk one reminds me of Pepé Le Pew! It almost makes me want to get one :')

It's funny that you say that because when I painted my wocky skunk, she reminded me of Penelope (Pepe's girl).

What leverhelven said about the BG and her outfit not matching - yeah, I definitely agree. Also really look at the past winners. They all seem to have a theme. The colors blend well and they have several things going on like a garland, a foreground, maybe a light or some sort of floating thing (movement - even though we don't see the movement in the picture, it adds overall to the theme). I've tried to win too but I know what some of my issues are. For example here is m0ranga who I've entered a couple of times. edit - what's going on with this font? weird!

I think she looks pretty good. She's a skunk wocky and I decided to try the black and white theme with just a touch of color. But some people don't like blk/wht. I also should have added that movement - like a snow shower. There are things I can improve upon with her. The thing is, try not to get frustrated and keep trying!! It does get a little frustrating when I see people who have won multiple times but I figure they just must have the touch because it's determined by votes - not by the TNT folks.

 

The carnival BG may be good with yours. I used it on my faerie lenny. Lots of color and suggested movement. Also maybe some contacts (since she's got big eyes) or one of the faerie eye shadows. That would make her eyes stand out

By blocking harmless stuff like that, TNT actively takes my mind where they didn't want it going in the first place. -__-

Right?! I wouldn't have noticed that either until I really looked at it for the OP. I think TNT goes way too far. And how did they set the filter to pick that up? Weird.

Okay - I know this sounds stupid (because it is...) but if you look at this part: "I've got answers on F5, UC's, and Key Quest so far. 0:-)"

if you look at the capitalization of the words it can quickly look like an inappropriate word. I may be wrong but it's strange what TNT finds inappropriate.

I say whatever floats your boat and makes you happy then do it. These games are not "preying" on anyone and it actually does take a certain amount of skill to play. So people who push stereotypes (like the people in the game shop) are small minded. Don't worry about them because I'll bet there are more people like you than you think! I'm an older, female gamer too and I really don't care what others think. When I returned to neopets (I first played in 2003) I put in a fake BD not because of shame but moreso because there are weirdos out there who break into accounts and such and I don't think anyone should put their real BD online ( I especially believe that for FB). I probably should have said that I was 75 instead of 23! LOL!! I used a friend's birthday to try and help me remember just in case of account issues. Just FYI - I'm in the 30s age bracket so yay for older players AND younger players!

7,000 NPS for Ptolymelon (I need 3) and my stats may go down? Pfffttt... forget it. They can have this game.
