Well not the news we were hoping for. Poor girl has a 2.3cm growth on her adrenal gland. Most likely benign but still a significant chance it's malignant. Surgery is recommended, so we're getting a quote for it and can go from there.

I just want to hug my poor pup and make all her problems go away.

She's 11 years old so surgery itself is risky. The growth is located by the major blood supply. For now we're going to treat her condition with the medication and monitor the growth and see if it gets any bigger. Hopefully it doesn't.

YEG, too? It's reallly windy out there now!

I know the wind here was terrible all last night and today it was just howling. It was so strong Mouse would almost refuse to go outside and when she did I was worried she'd get blown away. It's terrible being a dog sometimes.

I hope it's not windy on saturday. I have a hair appointment in the afternoon before my husband's Christmas party. DO NOT need my freshly styled hair all messed up from the wind.

Thanks and it was basically a fluke that I got lucky. For some reason I've been getting better at games lately.

It's a frustrating game that's for sure.

It's sad but her health wasn't good and she was going downhill fast. We did't want her to suffer.

That's what's best :) Hard, but she is certainly better. Back in July my dog randomly died in my arms, so we're in the same boat *squeeze*

It was definitely hard and I think Mouse is grieving more then my husband and I are. Considering Angel was her mom :( Angel would have died in our arms but the medication was taking too long. We put Angel into a medically induced coma and she slept peacefully for a little over 24 hours before she let go.

I bought a game from the app store similar to bejewelled and it has a time limit so I practiced and I guess it paid off. :)

That's a good idea! I got Bejewelled for Christmas, long after I had the avatar. I just kept practicing with tips from my husband as he watched me play.

I played on hard mode and I was able to rack up the points pretty good. I just put Kiele to bed when I came down and decided to play and sure enough I got the avatar!

Of course they are but she could do without the pain of them coming in, she's quite irritable.

The teething rings are too big for her :( Companies need to make something for smaller babies. She likes chewing on a cool washcloth. A couple days ago before she started getting irritable she'd chew her blanket, which was adorable. :)

My suggestion for getting the avatar is just visit every day. That's all I did and it took a while but I eventually got it. XD

great!! my Kougra is orange. Well she was originally a yellow chia, but I don't really like chias. Just saying.

She was a Faerie Kougra until Boochi zapped her. I got tired of not being able to customize her so I bought the paint brush.

Since December it's been a non-stop battle with colds and infections in my house. Here's hoping the summer months are better!

She's too big for newborn clothes and too small for the next size up which is 0-3 months. It's a good thing I can shrink her clothes! :D

Awe that's cute!!! Has she been sleeping better at night?

It's cute and very messy! :) Thankfully she is sleeping much better. We're not sure what was bothering her but the last two nights at home she's had different formula to help reduce gas and fussyness and it seems gentler on her tummy. Last night she slept from about 10:30pm until 6:30am and then went back to sleep at about 8:00am and woke up again at 11:00am, which is her usual routine.

Trying to be slightly poetic and gave up lol. Just having a rough couple of weeks. Got a $150.00 fine from our town for bogus reasons that we have to pay. My husband lost out on a promotion at work because "he's too busy" when the person who got the position isn't qualified, just a popularity contest and his boss is a bully. Waiting for the other shoe to drop and it did. Sunday night our dog got sprayed by a skunk. We have a fenced yard all the way around and no idea how...

This is why I always preferred working as a personal Nanny :( I think some people can't keep their sick kids home though because they don't have the means to have them watched and if they miss work they don't have the money to take care of their children. Also some people can carry "sickness germs" on their body that don't effect them that could effect someone else. You never know :((

I that exact same conversation with a friend of mine who has three kids in school right now. I understand how illnesses like the flu are already contagious prior to showing symptoms. Nothing you can do if you don't know your child is sick. I know some parents don't have the luxury of staying home with their kids when they're sick or have family around to help out. For us we have no family and if I was working I'd be taking a day off work in a heartbeat and take the financial h...
