Congratulation! That's awesome! I love KQ too and I've got some really good pieces from it too (apart from a lot of junk, of course) :)

Indeed, there is a severe lack of masculine clothes. Most of my neopets are male but many of the customizations I have in mind for them or already use on them are intended for females. So I just put on some eyeshadow on them to pass them as female. /haha I don't mind that; it's somewhat easier to pass male pets as female (since they lack those long eyelashes that most female pets have), but it would be really nice to get more male clothes. As Anime said, they shouldn't be limited by ''real life'' designers choices when it comes to clothes and gender roles. It's limiting and doesn't help put an end to sexism and inequality in the broadest sense of the terms. Men's clothes can be bright and a lot of fun to design, as long as they don't limit themselves to what's the norm right now. I don't care that much about the gender of my pets, as long as I can get a nice customization for them. Gender shouldn't matter at all actually, they should just make clothes that range from feminine to masculine so it can suit anyone, whether they're male, female, agender, queer or ''insert gender identity here''. As I already mentioned, I think it would be awesome to get more masculine clothes. ;D So... : Dear TNT, if you check out these forums, please add more masculine wearables! Most of us users would think it would be great. Thanks. :)

8ahamut: Yeah, it would be really nice to get more masculine sci-fi and medieval clothes! I had a hard time deciding whether I should create a Grundo instead of a Shoyru or Techo just because of those awesome ''geek wearables'' Grundos have and all the other pets apparently lack. D: It would be great to have one pet to somewhat represent me instead of just a bunch of nice looking neopets which lack both personality and backstory. :/ I'll probably create a Grundo, they're just pure greatness thanks to those wearables, just sad I won't be able to create both the Techo and the Shoyru unless I get premium. I would purchase a premium account if they let us keep the 5th pet slot... but nooo, they don't. Aargh, TNT, let us get more pet slots!

ShelleyJoy: I agree with you, boys should be able to wear skirts too (if they want to)! In some cultures they already do, but one might argue that e.g. a Scottish kilt isn't as fun as the great variety of skirts females got. :P I reiterate, gender shouldn't limit people from doing what they want and express themselves. I wouldn't want to wear a feminine skirt, but if someone else wants to wear one, why shouldn't they be able to do so? ;)?

Were the REs over the years or pretty close together, would you say?

I can't say they were close together, it's more over the years but that said, I think I haven't received any for a long time...
Also, you don't have to be a winner to win a piece from the Key Quest. I usually play in 2-player games so even if I loose, I get three rewards. Good luck!

Well, I would say its both exciting and stressful, given that we have CCAs (Co-curriculum activities, i.e. after school activities such as sports, aesthetics and uniformed groups) and tons of homework everyday. And wow, you double majored in university? :O
 
 
Thank you! I've always wanted to play the piano but I guess I couldn't find the time to do so :( I'm intending to double major in university, perhaps a BA in Computer Science and another BA in Mathematics.

I've been playing for 2.5 years now, was a former staff in a famed server, and also operated my own server (Sadly, it turned out to be a failure, but I'm intending to reopen it during the December holidays). Thank you! I once hated mathematics and literally had no interest in studying it. But my teacher inspired me so I've decided to work hard on it. English is my favourite language, and I love writing narratives and speeches. Which arts-related subject are you taking up currently?
 
Hmm, I think the rules are sort of similar to the rules of the forum of the previous Minecraft server I've played in. And yeah, I do find everyone here extremely nice and helpful :)

Empress of the Night: one of those pets where you want a really cool sounding name. I think "Queen of the Night" was already taken. :P

Lord Koschei: I'm not really into Doctor Who (despite having BBC-A now), but I briefly had a crush on Julia Roberts's brother, who is the only American to have played The Master. Wiki mentions a possible name for The Master as "Koschei", who was an antagonist in Slavic folklore. Koschei by itself was taken, so I added "lord" on the front. I think I originally meant to have him look as evil as possible, but after crosspainting him shadow, I thought he looked pretty cool with some of his "hatching clothes" intact. I also like the Lost Desert wings a lot better than his natural wings, so that's why he has them. ^_^


Primary Side

Isis-Andraste: I had an FFQ and needed a good name for a Desert pet, so that's what I chose. For those of you who don't know, Isis is an Egyptian mother goddess and Andraste was a war goddess invoked by Boudica.

Beloved Greg and Darling Dominic: as you know, I have quite the crush on Greg Hicks. ;) | My crush on Dominic West has been touch-and-go since Burton and Taylor (for which I watched solely to see Greg!), but apparently I decided he'd make a terrific gelert. So there we go. :D

Everwind Heart: another "cool name". I've tried variations on "otter" in different languages, but I don't think I've been as satisfied with any names as this.

Ostara's Bunny: honestly, I don't know why I have a cybunny. I was going to get one because of my best friend/heartmom, but she and I broke up early last month...yet I still got one. Ostara is the Pagan celebration of spring and that's where the "Easter bunny" comes from. In goddess form, Ostara is usually referred to as Eostre, but I like "Ostara's Bunny" a lot better. My poem "Lady in Green" even has Ostara using Boudica's famous bunny divination, saying something like, "If he runs left, six more weeks of winter...if he runs right, spring will soon come."
 
Mark Harmon: my favorite NCIS actor! I wanted him without the hypen, but Mr. No-Hyphenate is on an abandoned account some Lindsay Lohan fan created after seeing Freaky Friday. I don't necessarily think Mark/Gibbs would make a good skeith...more that I like the fact that skeiths eat everything and he needed a good name. :D

Oh you live in Bulgaria! I'm from Bulgaria. The clothing styles sold there really only cater to one body shape and if you're out of it, tough luck. Apparently it's the same in Brazil :D

I've got the same problem but with the downside that this is not a common body type here so it's ridiculously hard to find something that fits me and makes me look well.

Speaking personally, I honestly think Rio is gonna CRASH after all these events are gone. Seriously, CRASH. Crash like old US back in '29. But maybe I'm just grumpy...
 
I can understand a little you people who talk about difficult-to-find body types. I'm not plus size, but as sizes in China are MUCH smaller (Chinese girls are mostly short, petite and skinny) I almost feel like a plus-size while buying from those sites! :P My normal size is M, but I have to wear the Chinese XL and sometimes XXL. That is, when they DO have those sizes... (many products have size "free", which fits Chinese XS to M).
 
Also my hips are very large while my bosom is nearly non-existent, which is a totally common body type here in Brazil, but makes it so difficult to buy dresses anywhere else in the world. Either our bosom area fits and our hips get squished, or our hips fit and our bosom area gets ridiculously loose. Oh well. :P

I totally understand your point. Yes, China manages to mix the worst of both political systems: oppression of freedom from said "Communism", and their absolutely savage Capitalist industry. It's indeed disturbing and I totally understand why it moves you, and why you choose not to feed it. And it was not a Pandora box, I found your point very interesting!!! :)

It's gotten here already! Took one and a half month, I actually wore it for the first time today, it's very cute! :D

Last time I ordered some clothes from China I discovered there are new laws in my country (apparently similar to the EU's) and I have to go to the customs and also pay some taxes. This makes the experience an awful one - I'm not even going to get started with the service here at the customs but after one try I'd never do it again if I could. Also my clothes were shipped in two shipments via two different companies - UPS and DHL. When I got back from the customs enraged and almost crying, I phoned UPS to take care of my shipment. To do so I needed to go to the customs and issue a personal code, then go to a notary and issue an authorization for the company to deal with the shipment. Twice. Then UPS delivered it to my door asking to pay additional costs almost half of the price of the clothes. I was furious. A week later DHL asked me a ton of papers and description of the clothes (how could I know?) but delivered it without having to pay anything at all. Well, I don't know, it's insane.
On the other hand in my country even low quality stuff is overpriced and usually from China. There's no use buying local, it's usually disappointing. To tell you the truth, I'd order from China if only the customs regulations weren't so discouraging. Good job done though on making people buy from EU counties...

Oh, dear, that's so sad :( Sidney is just lovely, beatiful cat! I never understand why people ban pets from certain buildings, especially cats...
I have two dogs and two cats and I know how difficult is to go somewhere without them. When I travel I try to take them but sometimes it's not possible so I leave them at pet's hotels. I know there they've been taken care of, but still I feel very sad, anxious and fearful. I always worry they will be heartbroken, thinking I'm leaving them...
