ooo a marquan grundo! that's super cute!! robot race day 37: two colours in one day!! the lab is spoiling me! grey doesnt really suit squeri, she's more of an angry fireball than a melancholy one, but its still better than checkered jepire, on the other hand, looks rad as heck!! yellow's her colour and the neon cyber aesthetic suits her really well, so i hope sticks around for a while The ray is fired at Squeri... ... and he changes colour to Grey!! Finally made a third account for myself. Honestly, I've been wanting one for a while, and when I saw all the poor lost pets in the pound today (THOUSANDS OF THEM!) I figured I'd grab the last 7 species on my want list. Two for the main accounts (including the chomby I got earlier) plus a few more. And I forgot that you have to be a certain number of days old to adopt anything irregular, lol, oops! So for now I've got a little vandagyre that I need to customise (can't make an account without creating a pet.), and I'll watch those thousands as they sit there looking all sad, and wanting homes Hope the next couple of months go by quickly, so I can adopt some, and hope there are some good ones in there when I can!

So adorable! She looks great! I guess it's my fault. That's why I said "on some species" because on some others, it looks good. The point was when it's NC they tend to make the item look good to the majority of the species, while when it's NP they don't.

They have the same number of options for boons as any other. It's just that they get a random set of options each time. Any of the boons are possible, but it's also possible to have no 'good' boons as well. I'm going for Thieves since they have Cheaper by the Dozen which gets me the most NP.

Right now I appear to be unable to edit The Runway thread to show the winners. Not sure what's wrong, but the editor is extremely slow, and it's now failed to save all my edits 2 times. Adopting pets can be addictive That's why I made my sideaccounts in a short period with just 1 pet in them. Long before I knew I would need them because I knew I'd want to transfer/adopt such and would need the space + the number of transfers I could have over the time would be handy!

If you all take a look at this picture that Angelo posted you may like the cape/robe better. I think this pet looks great in it.

Hmmm. Thought about making one of these guys since it's their day, but ended up adopting one from the pound instead. Lost and Pound says there's 50-ish stuck in there. Just saying Now to find a way to customise her I really like the colour, personally. I think it's pretty, though I dunno if it'll be workable. The outfit isn't my personal style, but I think it's super cute anyway.

I'm sad about the final reward because again it had lots of potentials but didn't work out well. I liked the idea that they wanted to release a robe/cloak as a neopoint wearable but I think they could have delivered it better than they did. On some species it looks really bad... it looks like it's chocking their heads. No idea what happened here Well... you got my point! It screams "NEOPOINT WEARABLE" everywhere. And since a picture is better than 1000 words, I compared it with NC ones. Yes...

@Angeló Grouchpants, lol. It might be similar to the Peophin colouring, but it's been done nicely; it looks good. The brush-strokes follow the curves of the body, that belly looks lovely and fat xD It's actually a more muted palette than that used for the Peophin. I like that the darker tones are predominant on the Chomby, for me the balance is just right on this one. The face colours don't overwhelm, either, as they do on the Candy Mynci. Thumbs up to the artist this time around. I like it, though I do agree that it was a missed opportunity for a nod towards Tyrannia in the colours used. But maybe they tried that and it just ended up looking like Desert Storm camouflage? Who knows. I think this brush-strokes look probably needs the bolder colours to look like what it is. I LOVE the outfit, the hood is super-cute and well thought out to prevent spike poke-through, and I'm so happy for any pet day outfit now that is a bona fide outfit and not an entirely impractical onesie.

@jellysundae Luckily I already picked up my meds at the pharmacy for this month. so no more trips to the pharmacy. Although, my mom says when she went to go get some distilled water for my dad's CPAP machine, the pharmacy was almost empty. I think it's a matter of time before people get rebellious. At least here in California (or the rest of the US) there are still quite a lot of people not heeding the lockdowns and going holidaying. In fact here in the SF Bay Area, they had to shut down Point Reyes National Seashore today because people flooded the area over the weekend. So far none of the state owned beaches has done anything and people are holidaying there. I've heard stuff from our relatives/close friends in China. It's very scary, and even scarier people aren't taking the lockdowns/quarantines seriously. Many extended families have already died because of this.

I made a point of buying from a UK seller for that exact reason, lol, it's on its way. I got myself round to the supermarket yesterday, and asks some questions while I was there. My card that gives details about my meds IS enough to gain me access during the hour set aside for the elderly and vulnerable. BUT, yep, there's one of them! The lady I spoke to said it was complete bedlam, the store was absolutely jam-packed, so not the best place to be for someone being advised to stringently socially distance themselves. I did a slow tour of most the shelves; no loo roll, ofc, no pasta other than one box half-full of packs of spaghetti, and 2 small bags of red lentil fusilli - one of which I bought because that's the pasta I get - I didn't manage to check on the flour, even thought the shelves are all half-empty and there was hardly any people a supermarket visit is still mentally overloading for me and I didn't manage to remember about that until I got home, doh! But I got myself out, and I got some teabags, so I'm pleased with myself about that. I had a moment yesterday when I realised the set up for the delivery of my meds likely no longer exists. They come by courier, this worked fine until the company stopped letting the drivers contact people by phone and that's 100% necessary where I live as there's no doorbell/entry phone set-up here. So I started getting them delivered to the bakery downstairs (and then wished I'd done that all along as it's so much more convenient!) But all pubs, restaurants and cafes closed on Friday, and the bakery is a cafe too... looking out of my windows I can see they're not open as their sandwich board isn't outside and the big shutters on the side window are locked, so gotta find somewhere else! I'm gonna try Boots; it's just a couple of minutes walk up the road and a big chain pharmacy is hopefully gonna be a safe option, and remain one too. But now I need to get myself up there as I can't get through on the phone, so waiting for my brain to catch up with what I need to be doing.
