@Angeló just triggered a reminder to me by posting his Faerie cavern result. I'm going to spend the 800 points I have lying round on the Cartogriphication perk to use them up! Seems as good a use as any for these "spare change" points. I've already used the perk twice, but had since forgotten about it, so thank you Angeló ? lol, exactly what I expected! But it's still a profit. 7 attempts to go, let's see if I remember tomorrow! ? What are you doing with any oddment points that you have?

That... is a masterly understatement. ? It's taken a couple of minutes so far xD I did wonder, well, to be more accurate, was pretty sure, that someone would have a pet page showing what I wanted. But unless you know about these things there's no means to find them, is there. So thank you for sharing!

@jellysundae Interesting! It does seem like an awful big coincidence, considering how hard winning seems to be with so many people entering, and the "random" algorithm. Which might be slightly less random, if certain people are winning more than others... I think the only thing to do is for one of us to become one of the "VIPs", and see if we start winning more often. ?

I think it's more like "X pet day is coming, we must take care of that too" and someone replies "Does X has Invisible released? No? Perfect. Problem fixed" This is a possibility: they had so much in their mind at the time and being vacation time... they forgot about it. Then they wanted to make it up for us and released a detailed new color. Yes! its been a while but finally got a good prize again

I have an entry that's mostly complete - well, apart from a pretty essential item - this has been my problem so far actually with every card I've tried for. 50/50 right now whether I'll succeed with submitting for this round. ?

It is pretty much the ultimate smack in the face, isn't it? .__. Which is why I really want to hope it was done because there was no other option. I wonder if any artist who starts working for Neo has any real idea how much of a workload they're taking on. The schedule for the release of new items is so relentless, I'd imagine it only needs some small set-backs before they're forced into situations like Tonu Day's. ? So, here's a question - Is it better to release an Invisible pet, on the pet day. Or be several weeks late but release a good new colour; like the Burlap Ogrin... ? - was Ogrin day late because it was a good colour, would it have been sooner if it was a brush that didn't require so much detail/imagination etc... we shall never know! *does a count up on Neocolours* Hmm, so there's just 30 Invisible pets, out of 55 species. Another 15 Ultimate Disappointment Pet Days yet to come... The brush was released in 2000 so it's been around a LONG time, but there's only one more pet than there are Swamp Gas, which came out a whole 11 years later; I feel that somewhat vindicates my theory about them avoiding creating invisible pets. There's a LOT of Sponge ones to come out yet, there's only 22 of those. It's a shame that someone, somewhere, hasn't felt the urge to create a list of all the pets yet to be painted. I'd like to know which they are, but I absolutely don't have the patience or focus to be able to compile it myself. ?

Of course the Invisible pets have to be released at some point, I just think that they should avoid releasing Invisible as the only new colour for a pet day. The pets are the main purpose of Neopets after all, and each pet day should be given the proper time and effort. I can understand this being difficult at times, and I`m sure TNT has got plenty of things to do behind the scenes... And it`s not like Invisible doesn`t require any effort at all, but they should have given Tonus a second colour in my opinion.

It is possible for sure, but we never found out how to unlock it exactly and if it's even still possible: As you can see, I can get in without having to sneak in, but I bought and read books from Moltara, created every single petpet without buying the ingredients, played all the games in moltara, participated in the Atlas of the Ancient plot and got a gold trophy from it, visited every single spot, asked questions to Igneot etc. Basically I did everything there was and is to do in Moltara but what exactly triggered it back then, I wouldn't know. I know other people have tried everything too but didn't get access, I don't know if they participated in the plot or if they did what trophy they got.

I love these themes which are based on something else. Always get carried away and make loads trying to get as close as possible! @aleu1986 yours are fab, very excited to see your entry if those are just the example ones!

The ray is fired at Solarpath... ... and he changes colour to Custard!! Neat! Custard is a lab-only colour, right? I can`t recall seeing a paint brush for it, other than the petpet version.

I've remembered to wish, I'm kind of, sort of, getting better at it. ? I go through the names of the winners each time because this thread got me intrigued, lol. I see Garet's won, AGAIN. His name crops up quite a lot, as does Purplebin from JN. Now we know giving more money doesn't help, but is the Well seriously giving preferential treatment to Neo "VIPs"?? Is it sucking up to the cool kids?? ?

I think that in many cases, we can`t get our customizations to be identical to what the card looks like - but we can do our best to make them look as similar as we can given what we have to work with. Here are two examples I threw together, where I tried to get some of the details correct. They`re not exact, but close enough in my opinion, lol. Island Peophin Wheel of Excitement I`m trying to include all the same elements, the Light Faerie, the bushes/trees and the purple.. things.. not sure what they are lol. Hopefully it`s possible to see what I was going for. Good luck everyone, I look very much forward to seeing the entries! A challenge is good, but the most important thing is to enjoy the creative process and have fun. ?
