General consensus is that Levy wins. The image that won can be found here. Now that this has been decided, I shall work it out with him what to do with the prize. I liked all of the entries, and it was a tough decision between Theo's neon rose and Levy's blue rose effect. v_v;; ------------ Week 3 ------------ Okay, for this week's portion of the contest, it will require you to look at Levy's image and decide a good background that goes with this image. This one does NOT require you to follow a specific theme, but it does require it to go well with this image, but not draw attention away from the image itself. I'd like the image to be large enough to cover the entire screen, but if it isn't, just make it so that it can be tiled and still look awesome. Tiled IS acceptable, so don't shy away from it. Now, I think making the background would be an unfair advantage for me, being I have access to the PSD and the render. Though I will not give up the PSD, I will post the render of the girl here. I'm making it harder for myself because I want a challenge and I don't like cheating people. To be honest, I am not entirely sure how I came up with the background in the image, I was just randomly messing with the effects until something looked good. The PSD probably won't do me any good. It isn't amazing, yet not horrible. At the very least, it isn't what I wanted. At any rate, its done. I might go back and remake it before the week is up so don't expect this to be the only submission of mine. Heck, I've barely had time to get on WoW and see what's going on with my guild. v_v;; On top of that, I'm still only getting 3 hours of sleep at average. Wish I had more time in a day.... smumpkins Posted January 21, 2008 Author Share Posted January 21, 2008 It's easier to think of it as though you were looking at your computer background, and you wanted to put Levy's image up on it, as well. So, with that in mind, you want them to look nice together. After putting Levy's picture up, you go hunting for a background that would go behind and all around the picture that looks nice with his picture. That's what I mean.
