omakie Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Look, I've got a chemistry minor. Sodium and potassium are not opposites. They are both elements that can have a single positive charge. As for elements to combine with potassium, the possibilities are way too vast to be relevant.
KaysyLynn Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Interestin anagrams of "Sodium Silence" Medicine Souls Medicines Soul Clued Emission Muscles Iodine Muscle Iodines and my favourite: Demonic Lies Us I definitely like the demonic one...it seems evil anyway :) The iodine could be good though...
neon_halo Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 *drinks tea* inspiration. Where for art thou? *sighs*
shadowgrrl Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 aHA! sodium is only opposite of potassium in the respect that it has a different effect on the body in an alkaline diet. . . . . we've gained no knowledge in the past two hours, have we?
neon_halo Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 I imagine most chemicals have different effects on the body.
shadowgrrl Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 we should just sleep. really. take a break or something . . .
Ruto Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 I know this isn't really connected to the opposites and such, but G P has me thinking: the marking looks like a footprint, and the initial P could mean pteri. So the G...?
neon_halo Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 No, but my posts have gone up XD Okay, I'm going to sleep for a little bit. I'll be back in *looks at watch* 20 mins. powernap, oh yes. oh yay.
MotorMouth Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 what if G.P. stands for the opposites... hmm.... G..... Peace/Peaceful
Ruto Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Interesting point, MotorMouth. I'll see if I can find anything for G.
shadowgrrl Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 what if G.P. stands for the opposites... hmm.... G..... Peace/Peaceful green and purple >.< oh, wait, green is red, and purple is yellow.
MotorMouth Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 And then a second thought...... Matt had said opposites as 1 is to 9 (something like that.... element 91 (opposite of potassium's 19) is Protactinium..... maybe a stretch, but who knows anymore.

omakie Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 What is this "sleep" of which you speak? I'm not very familiar with it.
shadowgrrl Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 y'know something? i bet we're looking too deep into this.
MotorMouth Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Ive tried that one with silence.... I figured it was kinda random and obscure....
Meeptroid Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 A symbol in the corner, What could that possibly mean? Best not to worry about that now, For getting an answer is not too keen.
shadowgrrl Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 neopets-related, obviously there's a REASON they named it what they did. should we be stitching these things together in the opposite direction? thinking from a human's point of view, why they did what they did and how it connects with the things they're familiar with.
Ruto Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 I told you that symbol looked like a footprint.
