The Dark Faerie was saying that you had it, and if you would hand it over, rather than if you could get it. So I assumed that you had one on hand. :)

Don't worry, I'm not a creeper with some way of seeing what everyone has, LOL.

Oh haha, silly me :P My inventory is always packed with random stuff that I never clear out and I must have not realized that I already had one. I just automatically copy the page and post it here without really reading it, but that would explain why it's still in my inventory after I completed the quest!
