Reputation points.

I have been active in this forum for arround 2 months now (close to 3), and i have been thinking several times: what are reputation points and what do they do? I assumed the more active you are the more points you will get. I have 1 point. I don't know what those points indicate or how to get them, so i deceided to make a post about it. Have a nice day

Those are gained when your posts get liked.

Ah i see. Some more things, some people have a star before their name. What does that mean?

Those members have made over 2000 posts. I think this post might be interesting, as it explains the member ranks in a bit more detail.
