Trea
I have noticed that since Dragon Net (?) took over, Neopia Central, the Bazaar, the Plaza, Movie Central, Krawk Island and Moltara are no longer available. In fact, all of the countries and cities are not available. Does anyone have any hint as to what they are doing?
Nielo
I have no problem accessing any of those places, so I think it might be something on your end. What exactly is happening for you? A blank page? An error message?
acorah
Trea, no problem there for me either. Good luck ...
balloongal247
On http://www.neopets.com/preferences.phtml do you have your bandwidth setting set to gif/jpeg or to flash? Around the same time dragonnet took over, there was a chrome/flash upgrade, and now every site automatically blocks all flash plugins, even if you have it set to allow them. So, if your preferences are to use flash, then your maps might be getting blocked. In your url bar, do you see a puzzle piece error message, and if you click on it, it says flash is blocked, click to load with flash? As balloongal247 mentioned, It is a web browser issue, especially seen if you use Chrome. Nothing that JumpStart or NetDragon is doing. To be fair, Firefox (reference: https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2016/07/20/reducing-adobe-flash-usage-in-firefox/), Chrome (reference: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/google-softwaretips/enable-flash-chrome-specific-websites/) and Safari (reference: https://www.theverge.com/2016/6/14/11938562/apple-blocking-flash-safari-10-macos-sierra), now all disable Flash by default. However, with Chrome, it seems that after every update, you might have to re-enable Flash. To do so: 1. Make sure you are on Neopets. 2. Click the circle with the "i" in the center, located to the left of the website's address, in Chrome's address bar. 3. Look for "Flash". 4. To the right of "Flash", change the drop down option from "Ask (default)" to "Always allow on this site". 5. Refresh the page. Flash should now be working. (Results may vary. These instructions may or may not work for everyone, but might be worth trying, in case it does). EDIT: Interesting article from Forbes about Chrome and Flash "behaving oddly" - https://www.forbes.com/sites/kevinmurnane/2017/02/20/heres-why-chrome-browsers-may-be-behaving-oddly-with-flash/#2d42130f143f Trea

With the latest version this will not make it work. It definitely should. It definitely does not. I have sites that are set to allow (as verified on the i, and set after the upgrade) and it still blocks flash plugins. It's been super annoying because television service provider checks to watch online on demand stuff are flash plugins. So I have to manually get it to run flash every time I'm trying to watch something. I've whitelisted them and it still blocks them. So, on neopets, if the issue is flash maps being blocked, you'd have to reload each page saying run flash in order to get them to run. That would be awful, so I recommend switching to GIF/JPEG maps. Trea
Thanks to all who offered solutions to my problem. It was indeed with flash. So it's all working fine now. Scoobert_Doo
