Goldjet32
I was talking to my friend about why I have such fond memories of Neopets, and one of the discussions that came up was the ability to create your own personalized fonts, lookups, etc. through coding. Now, I was never that good at it, but I did dabble. I'm now pursuing a degree in Computer Science, and I think some of my interest in the field originated from Neopets. What do you think? What are your guys' experiences? spookydana, life_eclectic and Aquamentis12
Aquamentis12
What little html I knew seemed to not work with Neopets for things like the petpages and stuff. It was pretty frustrating. Likewise to doing lookups. CSS was just something I couldn't teach myself. Would LOVE to know how to code/program, but I'd definitely need a beginner's course. XD But hey, whatever inspires you to something you can make a career out of and enjoy! BEST of luck with your computer science degree! Just make sure you show that degree to Illusen before the quest-time runs out. LOL ;) fishstick013
zulia
Neopets definitely was a playground for me to practice coding in. Despite the constraints, I also have fond memories of coding for Neo. Congrats on going to school for something you love.
