brokenangel01022
Not sure if this is where I should be posting this but here goes. So on Sept 14th I had a year of Premium on Neo and all of a sudden it just stopped working. I made a ticket and today is March 25th. The only thing I've gotten since then is that they are working on it. So far half a year has gone by and I haven't gotten anything I've paid for. I've become very discouraged and not sure what else to do (yes I've updated my ticket, yes I've posted on fb, yes I've emailed them) :(
fishstick013
Jumpstart has questionable business ethics. :c I feel like, every day I spend on Neopets, I hear another NC or premium horror story. Perhaps you can dispute the charge with your credit card (?) or Paypal (?), depending how you paid. I mean, you haven't gotten services you paid for, so if they revoke the charge, that should get Jumpstart's attention. I'm sorry you're money has been wasted so far. I would stop payment anyway because you are not getting what you are paying for, but that will also get their attention. At the moment, you are still paying, so why should they worry? If they were any kind of company they would stand behind their product and customer service. But apparently they aren't. So, stop paying. Like fishstick said, that will get their attention. charelan
I also had seen a header on the DTI site fairly recently that said there was a class action suit against jumpstart over their payments etc... I didn't click the link as it didn't apply to me and I'm not sure if this is still ongoing but I figured I'd mention it just in case. Mouseykins
I would try to open a dispute if you can, depending on which method of payment you've used and how long ago it was. I hope you can get this issue resolved soon! :) Now as for that law suit, it's a bit of a joke in my opinion. The individual who started it is claiming that TNT auto renews subscriptions for premium without notice and such. It clearly states when you sign up for premium that until you cancel the subscription you will continue to be charged on whichever term you agreed to. So lets say you have a 3-month subscription, it will auto renew at the end of that time period unless you cancel it. If this person wanted to get Neopets into hot water they should have filed the suit for services not being provided after payment has been made. Such as the purchase of premium and not getting the features or buying NC but not having it credited to your account. acmerasta
life_eclectic
If the Neopets account you show on here is your Premium account, you aren't even listed as having Premium cards. That should show up regardless of whether your getting other services (or even getting the monthly cards), unless you already cancelled your Premium service. If you haven't already, you could try cancelling and letting your subscription run out, then get another subscription and see if things reset and you start getting the Premium benefits again. If you just do the monthly payment and still don't get the benefits, at least you will only have one month and not waste too much money. I had a weird situation with Premium and I'm guessing this isn't your situation, but I thought I'd share anyway. I wasn't getting any of the services for a month, but I still had my 5th pet and never got a notice that my premium wasn't active (I also didn't get an email saying my premium was paid for, but I hadn't gotten that in months, but still got all the Premium services, so clearly my account was active). I have a few things around the same price that I pay for each month and admittedly I'm not always so good with keeping track of payments. I checked my bank statement and noticed I had no charges from Neopets. I went to the Premium section of Neopets (I normally don't have any reason to go there if everything's working fine) and sure enough, it said I didn't have a Premium account. So I got a monthly subscription and my benefits came back right away. I know most people would do a better job of keeping track of a thing like that and yeah, I definitely learned a lesson. I'm not surprised about the lawsuit, but I agree the reasons don't make sense. I know there has been a problem with people being charged twice in a month as well, would also make more sense to sue for that. Anyway, it is ridiculous the situation with Jumpstart's customer service and how they (don't) handle problems in general, but especially Premium problems because people are paying real money for services and it should be taken seriously and addressed right away when those services aren't delivered.
