fusionbolt2000
If I take the name of a character from an adult show, for an example South Park, and put that name on a neopet, in my case, Eric Cartman, would it be concidered offensive and bannable/freezeble? I have had him for about 2 years. The reason this comes to mind is because south park, where the name comes from, is VERY offensive.
hrtbrk
You're likely good. There is a pet and an account named "south park" and they seem to be a-okay.
brynchilla
I think it would depend on the mod who sees it. Personally, I think it's fine. While some of the things on the show might be offensive, the name by itself is not.
Shane for Wax
I don't think they care where the names come from so long as the names themselves aren't bad like with swears and whatnot.
Batman
It should be fine. Think of it this way, ANYONE can be offensive. They just want the language to remain PG so 4 letter swear words are a no no.
twilight790
I don't think so. I named my vandagyre Adrian_Beakey from family guy lol
siniri
It also depends on whether the name is trademarked. If the name is trademarked, and they get a cease-and-desist order from the company that owns the name, they'll delete your account so they don't get sued. As long as they don't get such a letter, your account is safe. So the question becomes, how likely is the company to find your little neopets account, and how much do they actually care about things like that? Disney might care... South Park? I would guess not, but I don't really know. I also don't even know if the name is even trademarked. Just something to think about...

A company wouldn't waste their time causing trouble over an account name on a game. People use trademarked names all over the internet. Different if it was a company or someone using such a name to make money under.
