How often do you ignore the wonderfulness of the neopian world?

So, today, I think maybe for the first time, I read the description for the Inventory feature:

Inventory
You carry with you, at all times, a bag. This bag holds all your items until you move them elsewhere. It's not a huge bag, but it seems to have more room on the inside.

This is such a wonderful and magical concept!! It's like Doctor Who's TARDIS, or more specifically, Mary Poppins' Carpet Bag!! What a wonderful idea to think that while walking around Neopia each one of us carries this seemingly infinite bag.

Is there anything else cool or wonderful about Neopia that you have taken for granted?

I hardly ever visit the Money Tree, but I donate every single day. I also seem to get on that Skeith's nerves at the bank since I stock my shop and sell stuff all the time. Mostly, I deposit, but some days, that guy kicks me out of the bank for withdrawing too many times. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the images of Neopets carrying heavy bags of coins around. You would think Neopia would get with the times with debit cards, lol. I also kind of overlook that poor Healing Springs faerie. I use her all the time hoping to heal, but I hardly ever buy anything she sells.

I like that inventory bag description. I like that cute little Aisha with the backpack. :)

"This friendly old tree has stood here for as long as Neopia Central has been around, maybe even longer. Neopians come here to donate items and Neopoints to those in need. If you need a little help, join in and browse the piles of free items and NP. It's best not to be greedy, of course. The Money Tree doesn't like that."

It's funny how I never read the description for the Money Tree. It's because you're on the page so fast!! We all want to get that item. Every now and then I take a moment to read the description on the page and I think it's sweet. ^__^ "Neopians come here to donate items and Neopoints to those in need". It's just such a nice way to bring us all together! No greed, no selfishness, just helpfulness and kindness :3

All the underage players are carrying money pouches...18+ are using their debit cards. *giggle*

I think someone remarked in one of the editorials that the inventory was now like the TARDIS. Although maybe it's more like MP's carpetbag, as Bright said, or even Hermione's wedding pouch (since I gather the TARDIS is infinitely bigger than both). :D

Someone mentioned it on an Editorial some time ago, about it being a Dr. Who reference, and TNT agreed, so Dr. Who it is... I kinda feel annoyed with so many Dr. Who references, I never watched it and don't intent to, so I feel ignorant with all these jokes hahaah :P

That's okay...I only have the vaguest of ideas, myself. I did a bit of research during my short crush on Eric Roberts. Unfortunately, this seems to make some people think they're entitled to chatter on about it to me, even though I only know things specific to the 1996 movie. :P
