KQ key redeems

I stockpiled some silver keys and now they are automatically redeeming themselves. I'm not even visiting the KQ page. What do I do?

Huh? I don't think that's possible oO What exactly is happening? Are the items just showing up in your inventory?

Yes. I don't bother sending in bug reports anymore, because Neo isn't doing anything to fix things anymore. At least, I don't get the report submission emails anymore.

I have always been confused by this, can you win map pieces by redeeming silver keys? I know paint brushes are gold only but I am trying to collect the map pieces so I really want to know.

I would suggest you check your log in details (including email) and then log out and back in, if it is still going on. This is a bit too complex for a bug...

It wasn't happening for me yesterday or today. This is very strange. You could also try a different browser and see if it happens there too. If it doesn't try to find what causes it, or reinstall your browser.

 

Desertfreak: map pieces are gold only too.

Yeah, I got a map piece or two from a silver near the very beginning of KQ, but since it got straightened up, pretty sure it's just gold. Part of the reason I don't post on the official NP boards is because I was treated quite badly by people on there because they refused to believe that they could be wrong about that.

 

But I think that only gold now for map pieces and paint brushes.

 

And I think that I fixed the auto key redeem. I use Safari, and there is a "Top sites" page and the key redeem page was on there from frequent use. I think that every time I went to the top sites page it put a "hit" on the key redeem page.
