moldybread
Every once and a while that happens, and I always panic when it does. It shuts off during the worst times. :( Can I be frozen for that? My rating is still top notch, I don't know if that matters. If I remember the person's username I neomail them and explain what happened, which is what I just did, but they're not replying...
Anxious Zombie
No news is good news. Maybe XD It's not like you're always losing when this happens right? So you should be fine. Crap happens.
idriya
Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. You won't get frozen unless you keep it up. I would get your laptop looked at, though. This happened to me for awhile in the past, and I had a lot of dust clogged up in it (what can I say? College kid). Once the dust was cleaned out, it worked fine. That, or get one of those cooling pads. Spritzie, Lydia Trebond and Emily
crazy_cat_luv_bb
I have many experiences with this. (Not the quitting during keyquest, but the other one :P) The first thing like idriya has said, you should clean the laptop. The second thing is, if you're too busy or something then you should put something under the laptop to make the heat gets out of the vents. Good luck!
Lydia Trebond
Playing with your laptop on a hard surface rather than, say, your lap or your couch arm, will also help a lot. If it doesn't do it consistently, look for other factors that could be contributing: Are you /also/ playing habi or listening to music while trying to play? Placement of laptop Excessive number of minigames in a game using a different browser etc etc. Good luck figuring it out!
Duskitty
A friend of mine had this problem- I'd try propping your laptop up with a book flat on either side. And what everyone else said. edit: This is my 100th "post"! :happydance: This post has been edited by a member of staff (Spritzie) because of a violation of the forum rules. rcticsun
I had this problem with my old laptop. Cleaning out the fan vent with an air-blaster can helps, and so does leaving your laptop plugged in and removing the battery. You could also try closing all other windows, programs, and processes while playing KQ. If none of that helps, I'd say all you can do is use another computer or stop playing KQ.
