Pibbity
Hi guys, I earn about 20000 - 50000 NP a day, spend nearly all of it on codestones. I only bother with 1 player battledome, but am working towards battling harder opponents. My current build is as follows. I think my weapon set is decent, but I'm wondering how to improve it. I don't have the millions to afford a Hubrid Nox or stuff like that. Level: 59 Hit Points: 120 / 120 Strength: LEGENDARY (116) Defence: LEGENDARY (118) Movement: EXCELLENT (57) Current Equipment Leaf Shield Rainbow Scroll Greater Healing Scroll Purple Sticky Hand Scarab Ring Scroll of Knowledge Golden Compass Prickly Potion
savamal
For now, the new Battledome has plenty of glitches. And Prickly Potion is concerned by one of them. So until all glitches are fixed, you can safely put it in your SDB You mention the Hubrid Nox Memorial Shield. However, if you're interested into a full light blocker, then consider the Parasol of Unfortunate Demise. You should take part into plots. At the end, you can get some good weapons as prizes, namely: Brynns Legendary Sword of Wraith Smiting (12.75 attacker) Hanso Charisma Charm (dual-duty, 10 iconer and full dark blocker) Ylanas Blaster (12.60 attacker) Ring of the Lost (dual-duty, 10 iconer and full dark blocker) ... This year (I mean 2012), the Altador Prize Shop gave out a 13 iconer (Altador Cup Throwing Star) for 13k Altador points (i.e. you should have reached rank 17 to get one) Otherwise, there are other 13 iconers that you can get (for free) from Neoquest II in Insane Mode (Bow Of Destiny or Wand Of Reality) In your BD set, you should consider a freezer, namely the Randomly Firing Freeze Ray (4 iconer or freezer at rate of 50%) Rebecca~, Pibbity and Lamppost

I was on a neopets hiatus when those plots happened and its rather pricey at the moment. In my first account that I made 12 years ago, I used to have the hypno helmet & black frost cannon when it was still cheap. Unfortunately, neopets has already deleted the account :(. Can't believe how much the prices have risen!
Aquamentis12
Welcome back! And yeah, Neo prices HAVE inflated a TON from way back 12 years ago, even from 9 years back when I started playing. With your leaf shield and balanced stats, I would recommend for items and a chance at codestones, that you try the Jelly Chia, if you've got him as an opponent. the Leaf Shield will really help you out against him. Just use it with every turn to block the vast majority of his attacks. He gives mainly spooky foods, codestones, and once in awhile, some other items. Hopefully that will help keep your codestone costs down a bit so you can save some NP. As for weapons, Parasol of Unfortunate Demise is an AWESOME defender for the price! Kudos to savamal for suggesting it to you! Your set is actually pretty good! Far more icons than I had in my set back when my pet was at your current levels! Do you have ANY other pieces of BD equipment that you use? To swap into your regular set depending on the opponent you're facing? A good tactician keeps their set fluid, imho. So that they can formulate strategies depending on the circumstances. Right now you don't have a freezer or bomb. Since you said your income is rather limited right now.. (boy do I know how that goes!) You might want to save up for a Honey Potion, and instead of Prickly Potion, swap that out with a lower level Frost cannon, OR, snowballs. Sticky and Sand Snowballs are pretty good. I used to use them a lot when I was at your level, and higher a bit. Also, there are the 50% reflectors that can do a good job at aiding you in a tight pinch. Turbo Flame Reflector(Fire), Super U-Bend(Water) Dual Battle Mirror (light) Shovel Plus (earth) Double Dryer (air) Ultra Dark Reflectorb (Darkness). These reflectors can break for good, and then you need to buy another. But, they can be OH so useful when going against stronger 1-player opponents! Also, Expert Lens is SUPER cheap, and reflects 50% of Light. I don't think it breaks either! I hope this helps! Good luck and Happy Battling! :D Pibbity
Clumsy rockyroad1
I would recommend Koi warrior because he gives out 4-6 codestones per day. Also, you can block most of his attacks by using the Leaf Shield.

Ridiculously easy given its difficulty rating - hardly lost any HP. (For the curious, I continue to update my prizes on post #13 of this thread: http://www.tdnforums...he-best-prizes/) I'll swap my prickly potion out for the parasol & continue to train. As for freezers - I feel that they aren't great value for money, given how cheap they were back in the day. On the other hand 9 - 10 iconers are SO affordable - i can't help but SPAM that and the leaf shield in 1P bd. P.s. i tried to fight ghostkerchief and got KO-ed in 2 turns. ... ahhaha
Clumsy rockyroad1
Win against giant ghostkerchief by entering the battle with less than 10 hp then use a Meteor rock and a earth blocker (such as leaf shield). He can't do any damage to you anymore and you can eventually beat him with the Meteor Rock (or any all physical weapon).
Lamppost
As for freezers - I feel that they aren't great value for money, given how cheap they were back in the day. On the other hand 9 - 10 iconers are SO affordable - i can't help but SPAM that and the leaf shield in 1P bd. Just because they were cheap and the prices have gone up doesn't mean that they aren't still a good value. Freezers are key in my strategy, which is why I sprung for a 100% freezer. Also, the prices of Snowglobe Staff and Scroll of Freezing have really come down; they used to be 100k, but now they are closer to 40k and 60k, respectively. I would definitely recommend Randomly Firing Freeze Ray, which is still relatively cheap. A 100% freezer runs upwards of 7 mill, but RFFR is only 400k for a 50% freezer. Plus, unlike Snowglobe Staff, it actually does some damage (although not much) when it doesn't freeze. Plus, it's only semi-fragile, unlike the cheaper freezers. When you can't afford a 100% freezer, RFFR is the way to go.
savamal
P.s. i tried to fight ghostkerchief and got KO-ed in 2 turns. ... ahhaha There are some challengers that you should avoid at all costs: Ghostkerchief, Turmaculus and Neggbreaker because of their Prismatic Mirror Mootix Warrior because of its Mootix Warriors Armour Prismatic Mirror reflects almost all icons except Physical ones, so since there aren't many good weapons dealing lots of Physical icons AND stances aren't available, it's really a long and painful fight against those challengers who use it Mootix Warriors Armour is "simply" a multiple-use Thyoras Tear, so you just only hope this challenger doesn't use it too often during your fight...
