Dynohawk
Will they rise in price over the years as less become available? Did this happen last year?
Finn the Human
Will they rise in price over the years as less become available? Did this happen last year? Well there is a limited amount of them so I would hold on. Though I could also buy em off you!
Saxen
I'm pretty sure they got quite expensive last year! The backgrounds are worth a lot more though for obvious reasons. I'd say keep them as an investment :) I only opened one cause I liked the BG.
LillytheGrundo
I had this debate and only opened two. I'm not lucky when it comes to these things. Then I got greedy and opened the rest... Wah wah... I ended up with duplicates of everything and no cool items either. Just books and food. I would say hold and sell later! Those bonus backgrounds are pretty awesome though! miemieh
Does anyone know how much the fore/backgrounds are worth? And in 6 months?
Rebecca~
The bags tend to become more expensive, but not unbuyable or anything- the ones from years past get up to maybe 30k? The items can worth 300k though. If you want to gamble, open them, and hope for books and backgrounds. If you want to play it safe, hold onto the bags. :)
SidtheSnail
Honestly, If you see yourself playing for another 5 years, thats when I would try to sell them. the price will have gone up. because they are exclusive to the Masks Of Dread event for this year only
Finn the Human
Honestly, I wouldn't bother if you were planning to resell them. I opened them, made my profit, bought another set and shoved them in my gallery!
pchau123
I just keep em as a collection. Why bother selling it. They're not even going to be worth that much years from now hahah. hrtbrk
hrtbrk
pchau is right. Its going to take years - YEARS for them to even come unbuyable. The one from four years ago are worth a whopping 2k. This is one time that the contents (eg. background) of the bags will have more value than the bag itself.

But by logic, wouldn't that mean the bags have a better chance at inflating, and at a faster rate considering that the items inside the bags are actually worth opening the bags for instead of the usual junk you find in trick-or-treat bags. The chance of getting a background doesn't seem to be that high- I opened all of mine, and didn't even get one. I wouldn't buy more bags to try to get a background. It's safer to just buy the background. hrtbrk and Mouseykins
Lady Lyuba
They are indeed investing in because years later their prices go up and you can sell them for about 50k. However, it can also be tempting as they can come with expensive backgrounds, and if you want the possible backgrounds, it can be hard to resist opening them......... I bought and opened about 9 bags before I decided to just buy the backgrounds because it was cheaper lol Same happened last year as well. I sold the first few immediately and have the rest in my gallery and two in my SDB.

LizyMarie
I got great backgrounds in mine so I'm not upset that I opened them all. (I have more than enough NP anyway o.o) I also didn't get many repeats so I think that's pretty lucky. I suppose if I thought about it I could have saved a couple to sell at a later date/time. Hope whatever choice you made was a good one :P I had a great halloween!
~Xandria
So, the BG's are worth holding onto for selling next year then?
