I know I have a bunch of paint brush clothing in my closet thanks to the Lab Ray, so I thought I'd make a post with a list, just in case someone had adopted one of those pets, and is in need of some clothes.

Obviously, everyone can post the clothing they want to get rid of (or, the clothing you need, just in case!). :D
Hopefully we can all help each other out. :D

In case some people aren't completely clear on the PB clothing thing- when you pound pets, they lose all their clothing (including things like neckties on Bruces, and bows on Usuls), and that clothing stays with the person who pounded the pet. You also gain PB clothing through the lab ray when your pet gets zapped a colour or species that comes with clothing. When the pet gets zapped to something else, the clothing stays.
The only way to trade PB clothing is to transfer (or pound adopt) the naked pet to the account with the clothing, and then to transfer the pet back-- they pet, once it has clothing HAS to be transfered back to the original owner, or else the clothing will just stay on that account.
And just to be clear, the pet you are trying to move the clothing with HAS to be the same colour. You can't move Pirate clothing on a Blue pet for example. The colour of the pet has to match the colour of the clothing.

You can, for sure! Cross-painting pets (painting a pet one colour to get the clothing, then painting a pet another colour) is really popular now. I did that with my Shoyru- I painted him Royal for the clothing, and then painted him Faerie, but I kept him dressed in the Royal clothes.

 

But, as I said in the first post, you can only transfer clothing on pets of the same colour. So, for example, if you transferred a Halloween Bruce to me, you wouldn't be able to get the Red Bowtie- it just wouldn't transfer back, because the colour is wrong. But, if you had a Red Bruce without a bowtie, you can transfer that pet to me, get the Bowtie, then paint it Halloween, and you could do the cross painting that way. Does that make sense?

Guys, I just tried to do a pet transfer for the clothing with Emily and it turns out that clothing isn't transferred with your pet if it's not painted the same color as the clothing.

 

I'm sad to say this but this kind of destroys the purpose of the whole thread. XD

Yeah, that is a requirement. And actually that is mentioned in the first post ;)

This is for pets that have been picked up from the pound and so have lost their clothing.

Yeah I get it now XD. From the first post I thought pets only lose their clothing if they're abandoned, not transferred.

They only lose their clothing in transfer if they're no longer the colour that the clothing belongs to. You've probably deducted this, but I felt the need to clarify to avoid confusing people :)
