Mysterious Negg Cave Help Thread

Please help, this is really confusing.

 

purple flame, yellow flame, red flame

yellow flower, red flower, purple flower

red square, purple square, yellow square

I know this is from yesterday, but for future reference:

yellow square, purple flame, red flame

red square, red circle, yellow flame

Probably the first time I've been stumped by one of these. For two shields to go side by side that would mean the third shield has to go in the bottom middle spot. For two fire to have that step pattern, the third one would have to go in that same spot. Am I missing something??

The only way I can see it working, would be to put a square in the bottom and the flame on top, and then flower in the middle.

That is a tough one. I gave it a shot, but I'm not at all sure it's correct.

Help please. Again, there's a solution already made on TDN for an almost identical puzzle. The only difference is that the clues are rotated. I don't understand how that works and it all confuses me and I really hate this stupid daily -_-
