Trophies

There are some games where everybody has the same score, so it's just the lucky few in the top 17 places who receive a trophy. How do you get towards the top? Do you have to play the game close to 12NST, when they award trophies?

No those games are basically first come first recieve ( i have learned that from 2006) Soo for Splat the Sloth and others are taken :/ Sorry

You basically have to play right at score reset, around midnightish on the first of the month.

What about Ugga drop? I saw some place that if you get the highest possible points, sometime throughout the month you'll probably get a trophy.

I think ugga drop is the same as the others where you need to try to get the highest amount of points pretty early on.

That's not how it used to be - if you get the high score you get into place 100 and you bump the top person off the list...it's then luck as to whether you get the trophy before you yourself get bumped off the list. That's how I got the Faerie's Cave and Bruno's Breakaway and Spat the Sloth trophies...

 

I found it was better going for them just after the mid point in the month as then less people were trying and you had more chance of staying on the list.

 

Whether that's changed recently I don't know, but that's definitely how it worked for me!!
