keiwo
it's actually not embarrassing to listen to mainstream artists so idk why you are ashamed of listening to cobra starship or paramore. they are both good music groups in their own right i barely scrobble anymore but here's my last.fm: http://www.last.fm/user/hillsighed it doesn't give a particularly accurate snapshot of what i listen to but i can't be bothered listing bands/artists.. i have like 90 gigs of music and i am constantly looking for more

Trig
I have 240 different artists on my iPod, and there is SO much music that I would love to have but haven't gotten around to buying/downloading etc. I guess I'll list my top 10 or 15 favourites, but I pretty much listen to anything but scremo and heavy metal/metal. I like catchy songs, but it depends what kind of mood I'm in. I'll even listen to some classical music/ Latin-Andean to help me sleep. I tend I usually just have one CD or so from a band of the songs I really like. My favourite genre would be that of alternative/indie music, but like I said I'll listen to just about anything. The Beatles Making April Taylor Swift Boys Like Girls Maroon 5 Conor Oberst Barenaked Ladies Faith Hill Hawksley Workman Lady Antebellum (I've really been getting into their music lately- although I only have one album). Motion City Soundtrack Train Queen I also really like a lot of oldies music, although not always the entire discography. I've found I also like REM, but I don't really have any of their music. My dad's really influenced me quite a bit so a lot of the older songs I've heard is because he's showed them to me and I usually end up liking them.
