The Yule Goat, (Swedish julbock, Finnish joulupukki, Norwegian julebukk) is one of the oldest Scandinavian Christmas symbols. Its origin is the legend about the Thundergod Thor who rode in the sky in a wagon pulled by two goats. Whoops, it seems like my information was wrong. Thor's goats, not Odin's. :P Anyway, these goats are probably the origin of the Santa's reindeer thing. And nope, I think we still have all of our countries! :) End of the world was a bust. Quote

I did get a nice long vacation from work (11 days) earlier this month, so that was part of my present, as well as the gifts exchanged, so it just came a bit early this year. Quote
