Naamah D. Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 x_x I wish we had them. We don't even have frozen yogurt. But we also don't have so many fast food restaurants. And I was told we have miniature portions compared to US Mc'Donalds. Just curious....what kinda foods do they have in your country? I'm very interested in other cultures. Quote
IrishLiz Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 It's quite a few different types. :laughingsmiley: I still wish they'd bring back the mint. Or make white chocolate ones. I like the mint ones too. I think McDonalds is different in every country... when I went to France, most of the sandwiches had versions with eggs on them. EDIT: I didn't eat at McDonalds in France though... I wanted to try French food! haha. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 They always discontinue the awesome stuff. They do have that premium M&M line (Or did they quit that too?) There were premium mint M&Ms that were amazing. I got a package, and they were so sweet, they lasted me nearly a month. Quote
rachiee Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I've never had mint M&Ms before but they sound really good! I looooooove mint and chocolate together. :) Quote
Spritzie Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I like the spearmint type, not the peppermint type mint. The mint M&Ms were amazing. Quote
Wembly Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Pretzel M&Ms are amazing! Definitely my favorite kind. Someone told me there were coconut m&ms but I personally have never seen/had them. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 We have the coconut ones here. They were released at the same time as the pretzel ones. My husband absolutely loves there. They're just a bit harder to find here. Quote
Wembly Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 This thread is making my hungry again :rolleyes_anim: only 2 hours ish until dinner. Maybe that means it's snack time. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 :laughingsmiley: For once, I'm not being tortured by a food conversation. I have about 5 hours until dinner though. Quote
rachiee Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I have about an hour and a half until dinner. Problem is, I'm not all that hungry. I had about half of a frozen lasagna, a few lollipops, some more candy corn and a packet of cookies after I came home from school. Quote
Sakabato Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Mint M&M's ... I didn't even knew a such thing existed! Being a mint fan, I would like it, especially if it comes in crispy variation. Quote
Wembly Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I can't stand the combination of mint and chocolate personally. I think I had a doughnut and a cheese stick today. Sort of a fail on my part. Quote
Rebeka Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Just curious....what kinda foods do they have in your country? I'm very interested in other cultures. Well I personally love Italian food :) At first I must say that our main meal is lunch. Most people eat lunch from 1-4pm (depends on when they finish work). Dinner is actually more than not ''optional'' and by that I mean that for dinner not neccesarily all family eats together, but you know .. every person for itself :D (of course some families eat dinner together :)) I actually don't even eat dinner, nor breakfast. I think we eat quite a lot of vegetables. Big gardens are a must for every house (I measured ours for school the other day and I was shocked: 350m2!) :) My favourite foods are cabagge, spinach and potatoes and in the summer tomatoe and pepper salad. As for desserts I absolutely LOVE - doughnut. But they're not like your doughnuts but they look a bit different: And yes, those are quite big actually. Like your palm. They're usually filled with marmelade (peach) or they can be filled with vanilla pudding and covered with chocolate instead of sugar, but the first ones are more traditional. Best doughnuts are in Trojane - they're big and they just melt in your mouth :) If you're interested in more, click this link and you'll learn everything :) Almost forgot this specialty: It's called kremšnita. Doesn't it look just delicious :) ? Quote

They've been gone for quite a few years. I honestly can't remember the last time I ever saw them. I can't stand the combination of mint and chocolate personally. I think I had a doughnut and a cheese stick today. Sort of a fail on my part. I love the combination, but the mint has to be spearmint type. (An ice cream place here, actually had peppermint pieces in their mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was nasty.) Quote

Naamah D. Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I'm not big on fast food, but when I do get it I let my hair down and eat. Saturday I didn't have breakfast so my took me to Taco Bell. No lie, I ate a crunchwrap supreme and a soft shell taco in one sitting. Oreo milkshakes at Burger King are always a favorite. I don't care for McDonald's burgers but I love the chicken selects. And I usually pass the chicken at KFC and get potato wedges to dip in gravy and lemme tell ya, Naamah loves her some gravy lol. EDIT: I will only eat brown gravy. White gravy is gross looking and tasting. Quote

Of course I had a Gatorade or Vitamin Water of some sort in between slices. Quote

Wembly Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Ugh! I am so full it's not even funny. I made eggplant parm sort of. With spaghetti and garlic bread. So good but SO full. Quote
IrishLiz Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 That sounds yummy. I love eggplant (I think my Italian boyfriend has increased my love of eggplant too). I've been sick, so I'm eating things like soup and rice and saltines and jello today. Quote
Sweetdang Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Food! :D Have any of you tried Bubble Tea? :D Quote
Ruka Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Bubble Tea <3 Since we do actually come from the same country! :wub_anim: Quote
