Wembly Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 That's cool. I haven't been to the mall in ages. In other news, I found out I'm even more allergic to potatoes that I thought I was. I just peeled and chopped potatoes for other people for dinner and I got so itchy and broke out EVERYWHERE it is not very fun :sad01_anim: Quote
The Meepit Commando Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Ouch. Hope it is not a horrible reaction. On the food topic, I'm making monkey bread in school tomorrow :king: Quote
Spritzie Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Gonna reply to all conversations... 1) I love the snow, but perhaps I only like it because it's more permissable to go out in it? xD If I say I'm gonna go splash around outside in a rain people will think I'm crazy, but if I lie on the ground and make snow angels people find it normal...(which btw, I've never seen enough snow to make a snow angel. :/) I wouldn't really find either one that weird. But I would be far more likely to run around in the rain, then make snow angels. Quote
Noog Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Hey guys, I just made some mean steamed broccoli...no? Fine, more for me :P I wouldn't really find either one that weird. But I would be far more likely to run around in the rain, then make snow angels. lol I've only been out in the rain a couple of times. I found that it felt amazing but people think I'm insane. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I love rain, but I'd rather drive in it, than run around in it. Rain is one of my favorite driving conditions. Quote
Noog Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I would have to disagree, because I like to go fast, lol. Sleeping when it's raining is what it's all about :D Quote
Ruto Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Especially when you're sleeping on the top floor and you can hear the raindrops right above you. :D Quote
Spritzie Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I don't really :P I got a spending ticket once, 4 years ago, when I wasn't even aware I was speeding. Now I'm obsessive about staying at the right speeds. I agree! I love falling asleep the house of rain hitting the roof, and the thunder. Quote
twilightprincess922 Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I like rain alot :) Very inspiring if you ask me; I'd come up with some sappy poem to go along with that but I'm not in the mood. Oh my gosh. I just realized something. The world is ending!!! I left my iPod in my friend's locker because I was too lazy to go all the way over the the other side of the school to put in my own, and I forgot to break into her locker to get it. Meh :/ Quote
Lady Lyuba Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I'm SICK of the rain! Trust me, you would be too if you lived where I did! All it ever does here is rain and it has gotten so old I want to move down to Annaheim. <_< I have not seen snow very often, and it's likely to have been less than 50 times in my entire life! It only snows once a year here, and we only get summer in August. July too; but only if we are lucky. Quote
Ruto Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 It hardly ever rains down here, so I welcome it whenever it does show up. :D Quote
Syrin of Neopia Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Oh man, I wish it was raining right now. I stayed up to write a paper tonight (which I have one page left so I don't feel bad taking a break on TDN) but now I feel like I won't be able to sleep because I've been forcing myself to stay awake to finish working. I have a sound machine with rain and storm sounds, but sometimes that just doesn't do the real weather justice . . . so if anyone wants to send some rain my way for a couple hours so I can fall asleep, I'd appreciate it :) Quote
Sweetdang Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Hey guys, I just made some mean steamed broccoli...no? Fine, more for me :P Actually, yes, please. :) I realize I eat the weirdest foods - and LIKE them! Try me! Quote
rachiee Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I have a sound machine with rain and storm sounds... I do too! Half of the sounds on there are water/rainy weather sounds (rain, thunder, stream, ocean) and the other half of sounds are: woods, birds, heartbeat and white noise. :P Quote
_Lu_ Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 I do too! Half of the sounds on there are water/rainy weather sounds (rain, thunder, stream, ocean) and the other half of sounds are: woods, birds, heartbeat and white noise. :P My alarm clock makes those sounds every morning.... I swear it won't last long :D:D:D Quote
Tedhaun Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 It was raining heavily after I had Burger King for lunch today. It should be partly cloudy tomorrow where I am. Also, I got a Silver Trophy for Nimmo's Pond earlier today, I've been practicing my skill all this week. Quote
Naamah D. Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Call me a dork, but I already know what I want for Christmas. I've made my list and everything! Congrats on your trophy:) Quote
Sweetdang Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Eh heh I never made lists for christmas. :D *could we be MOVING AWAY from weather? :O * Quote
rachiee Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I always made Christmas wishlists and ended up getting only a few things things off that list. Speaking of which, I need to start making my Christmas wishlist as well as my birthday wishlist. Making a birthday wishlist is my first priority because my birthday is a little over a month from now. Quote
Naamah D. Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 WOOHOO! I got $90.00! I want jewelry. And holy crud! I picked out the coolest shirts with my shopping money. I have every right and reason to do a happy dance. Quote
Rebeka Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I usually just say what I want for Christmas, if I want anything specific. But I prefer suprises :) I love december because I get gifts for Christmas, Birthday and for another Slovenian holiday :) Quote
Sweetdang Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I love december because christmas time means family time. :) Quote
Wembly Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I love december because christmas time means family time. :) True story. I love when people say that. It makes me happy. :wub_anim: But yeah, presents are cool too  Quote
Syrin of Neopia Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I'm a pretty big fan of Christmas, mostly because I adore watching my little nephews open presents! Quote
