I'm pretty sure it was a gift from Santa which came in my stocking along with Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone for GameBoy - my first ever console and game! <3 I found it today when I was looking through the game bag that had been under my brother's bed for goodness knows how long. Iona Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 It actually didn't. Which I'm still slightly puzzled about to this day. I never owned any of the Pokemon games before the GBA ones. I'd have thought the Pokemon GameBoy Color would have come with a Pokemon game as a bundle, like you just said, but there wasn't a Pokemon game in my stocking so I just assume the GameBoy was separate. I was happy with my Harry Potter game though haha. An odd combination, but I loved it. :thumbsup: Well, your entries are adorable so I think you'll do well. And you should spend some time advertising. :) EDIT: Actually, I think you mentioned before that your finals are very close? You probably don't have all that much time to lurk on the BC boards. Quote

It's a great group of people that tend to be a very tight community. We have daily NP/NC trade posts, weekly pet adoption/trade posts, and talk about customization a lot. But some can go for quite a bit. Old advent calendar stamps/books sell for a decent bit, such as the Ring of Sloth stamp, which went up in value when they made the Battledome stamp avatar :) Quote

Yup, that can happen. Since it's not a consumable item though, it won't go up as much in value. Food/stamps/books/neggs and other one-use items will go up in value once retired, because the available number of items will be alway dwindling. :) Quote

But I agree that its sad you can't get rid of them. For some reason I always have tons of trouble with getting the classic neohomes to work for me so I like the new ones better. Quote
Iona Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 I've never really put much effort into my neohomes. I did like the classic ones, sort of, but was always unhappy that I couldn't put my pets in. The new neohomes take forever to load for me, but I guess they're a lot better with the whole "3D" format. And of course, we can put our pets in them now. :woot: And on the topic of SDBs.. mine was completely out of hand after I'd gone for packrat. Then one day I sort of cleared things out a bit, still got around 800 items there, mostly worthless. Quote

I've made quite a bit off of some retired items, though I don't remember off-hand which ones they were. I did have a lava lamp that was retired after I bought it. I bought it extremely cheaply, and it sold for 40k. Quote
