:)Doc Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Man, between that and killing of Sims, most of my adolescence gaming was spent concocting various creative ways of killing off as many people as possible. Oooh I'm big into Sims 2! I just got it. How do you kill people? :O Sorry I haven't been around. I went to the school dance Friday and I tried for All- Region toda- yesterday; didn't make it-headdesk- CONGRATS LIVVY!!!!!!! Quote

The Score in Blue Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Tyler, you live in USA, but it's a different timezone right? I don't know when that'll be for me. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 It's either 2PM or 4PM for me. I can never remember which way the numbers go. :* Quote
-Ryan Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Its 6:30 a.m. right now so i'm too tired to figure out what time it'll be for me then. Quote
Spritzie Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 :laughingsmiley: Look what I started. It looks like you have a lot of support here Livvy. Quote
livvy Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 It sure does. ^_^ *hugs you all* And Ryan, it'll be 1 PM for you, because it was 8:30 here when you said it was 6:30 there. Quote
Spritzie Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 That's right. I forgot Ryan is in the same time zone as me now that Daylight Savings Time is over. Quote
livvy Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Wait. So he wasn't in the same time zone when DST was going on? o_O Quote
Spritzie Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Nope. He's in Arizona, which for some strange reason, doesn't do DST. So when DST is in affect, AZ is 1 hour off from the rest of the time zone that it usually matches. (My cousin lives in Arizona, which is why I knew that originally.) Quote
livvy Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Huh. That's funny. Way to go, Arizona! DST is silly anyway. =P Still, that is rather confusing. Especially for cross-state business dealings and whatnot. Does it trip you up a lot when you visit your Arizona cousin? Quote
Spritzie Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I've only visited her twice in AZ. Both trips were during December, so there was no time difference. Usually, her and her family come to Colorado in July. It is silly, but for some reason, I like DST. Quote
livvy Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 I just dislike the changes. I'd be fine with staying on DST or off DST, but it's so confusing to suddenly lose an hour and then gain an hour. When DST is on, I'm exactly 12 hours away from Theo, and now I'm either 13 or 11 hours away and can never quite remember. (And as I'm now co-writing a story with him, those time differences are rather important.) Quote
Spritzie Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 It is confusing, but when I gain an hour, I feel like I won something. :laughingsmiley: Quote
livvy Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Haha, that's a neat way to look at it! :laughingsmiley: But then when you lose an hour, it's like someone took what you won. =[ Quote
Spritzie Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Exactly. :( And I get bummed because I just *know* I'm going to be extra tired at work. An extra hour's tired. Quote
