CAV of Gang Green Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I'm guessing you saw my post in the music topic Spritzie. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010  Whatever are you talking about CAV? Okay, I might have. But I won't commit to it. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 You just did by saying you saw the post. :P Naw. I just found it weird that the music topic was more active than the freaking HOP. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I agree. But it's probably because it's easier to post a song title, than to come up with some interesting/meaningful conversation. I know I'm pretty brain-dead at the moment. Quote
Luciana Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Nah. The music topic was more active because I was posting there. ;-) Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I agree. But it's probably because it's easier to post a song title, than to come up with some interesting/meaningful conversation. Not really when you have to find some words so you can fit the 7 word rule since the song title is too short. Hmmmm conversations conversations.....has anyone been watching the MLB Playoffs? Quote
Spritzie Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I'm spaced out right now, so the music board is easy for me. I haven't watched baseball since the Florida Marlins won forever ago. Who's playing? Quote
Theresa2 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 My Fiance has been wacthing it what team did you whant to know about and Ill ask him I dont wacth sports at all there all so boring lol Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I haven't watched baseball since the Florida Marlins won forever ago. Who's playing? National League Championship Series: San Fransico Giants (1) vs. Philadelphia Phillies (0) American League Championship Series: Texas Rangers (1) vs. New York Yankees (1) In baseball, I'll only support 2 teams. The New York Mets, and whomever the Yankees are against. LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!! Quote
Spritzie Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I always liked the Florida Marlins. But that's because my team was called the Marlins when I played softball, and we wore the Florida Marlins hats. I prefer basketball, if I'm going to watch a sport. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Basketball bores me. I play it, but I will never sit down and watch a game on TV. Baseball was my childhood. It's my present. And it will be in my future. It's the best sport in the world (in my opinion). Quote
Luciana Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 All sports bore me. I can't sit down and watch a game without getting distracted. and the only sport I like doing is swimming. Besides that, I am just a huge art nerd. '_' Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 The only kind of art I like is Film, Photography, and Music. Other than that, no art. I hate it. Can't draw for crap. Quote
Luciana Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I've always wanted to learn how to make music, but it seems so difficult. You mentioned before that you wanted to learn how to draw, right? I forgot if I responded to that. I was gonna say congrats on being so productive. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I am making an album with my friend. We will be singing requests made by you users (the topic is in the general chat forum) We are making 2 movies. 1 is a comedy. The other is an action film that will be converted into 3D. I want to learn to make art. What inspired me to learn was Razzek's art. Quote
Luciana Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Sounds fun. I would request a song, but I can't think of any! I'll be sure to comment on your music once you release it, though. Who is Razzek? Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Razzek is a 28 year old artist on Deviantart. She draws cartoony but nice art. She's famous for her art of the Spyro franchise, mostly Cynder (as seen here). Quote
Luciana Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Cute art! I looked her up and I have to say... artists like her inspire me especially to not give up so easily. Even though she's blind, she still does what she loves and has a positive attitude. :D Quote
Tyler. Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 wow she's nearly blind, that's amazing, it;s people like that who inspire me Quote
The Score in Blue Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Zakuro, what are the states that you DO know? Hmm.... Texas (because Funimation is based there), North and South Dakota, respectively, Florida, Arkansas, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Mississippi and Massachusetts. That's all I can think of for now. I used to live in Texas, so if you give me all the abbreviations, I could tell you the states, and I might be able to place some on a map, but that's it. I have no idea on abbreviations, just the names. The only one is AZ, aka. Arizona. So what does DC (in Washington DC) stand for? In 8th grade, in my history class, we had to memorize the abbreviation and capital for all the US states, then we had a test on it. I had the same thing, but with Europe in 7th grade geography. I don't know what grade I'm in. Yr 10 (NZ), what's that in America? That is awesome, just like Dionne Kwan. She works on cartoons as a voice actor and is blind. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 DC stands for the District of Columbia. I don't know why, it just does. Quote
-Ryan Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Silly JB, DC stands for the awesomest thing ever. Quote
Spritzie Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 All sports bore me. I can't sit down and watch a game without getting distracted. and the only sport I like doing is swimming. Besides that, I am just a huge art nerd. '_' I'm the same way. I don't really enjoy watching sports. I'd just much rather play, than watch. And Zakuro, I'm not sure. Since I'm not sure of your age, I can't put an approximate age/grade to it. But in Colorado, you can go to kindergarten, at age 5. (I went when I was 6.) So I was 12 when I entered 6th. 15 when I went to 9th (HS). And I was 18 when I graduated. (Turned 19 a month or so later.) But then again, I was always the oldest in my class, so it wasn't unusual for most kids to be roughly a year younger for those grades. Quote
Noog Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 The District of Colombia was the name of it until George Washington died (because it's extremely rude, especially back then, to name something after someone who is still alive). As far as specifics, they just decided on Colombia, and it's not a state, more of a district. District of Colombia? <--That's how it went from what I remember of my history teacher's explanation. Silly JB, DC stands for the awesomest thing ever. I see what you did there. Quote
livvy Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 *pokes Noog* It's the District of ColUmbia, not ColOmbia. Colombia is a country. :P Quote
