jumpingbeans Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 You wouldn't really be a 'fake', just you're hair. But don't clothing make you a 'fake' too. If, for example, you decide to go with the new style, instead of what you like wearing, isn't that being 'fake' too? Quote
Unstream Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 People like consistency? I dunno. Wigs are just itchy, but it's a good alternative to being bald :P Hi Livvy!! :D (Sorry for leaving probably around the time you posted that x_x) Quote
livvy Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Yay, you're back! :D Haha, that would be really weird, JB. "Um, Livvy, wasn't your hair shockingly short yesterday?" "... I have no idea what you're talking about. *shuffles away*" Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 But don't clothing make you a 'fake' too. If, for example, you decide to go with the new style, instead of what you like wearing, isn't that being 'fake' too? No. That's a change in style. But the fact that you are putting on fake hair because you don't appreciate your normal hair is stupid. Quote
livvy Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Technically, changing your hair is just a change in style too. It's just a more permanent change. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Technically, changing your hair is just a change in style too. It's just a more permanent change. But it's fake. Clothes can't really be fake. And you get your hair from your parents. The fact that you would disregard what your parents gave ya (literally), is rather selfish. The only reason you should get a wig is if you have an illness that makes you lose hair, and you don't want to be bald. Quote
livvy Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Do you also have a problem with people dying their hair? While I would never do it myself, I do see it as somewhat a form of self-expression. It's just another accessory for some people. Quote
Unstream Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 x_x Sorry, had to leave for dinner :laughingsmiley: Wearing a wig isn't being fake...or selfish (?) for that matter. It's like saying painting people paint their nails because they don't appreciate their normal nails and they're selfish because of that. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Do you also have a problem with people dying their hair? Actually no. I don't dye my hair, but I have spray painted it several times before (mainly blue and green). At least it's still your actual hair. That you grew out of your head. Not a wig. Do I sound hypicritical? If so, I'm sorry. I don't even know what I'm saying at this point. :laughingsmiley: School has me so out of it. Quote
livvy Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 *mock ghetto accent* You'd BETTER not insult nail-painting, boy. I LIKE painting my nails, so you'd better not start talking smack about nail polish. *normal voice* Haha, sorry. :P Seriously though, I enjoy painting my nails. Not because I don't like them unpainted, but because I don't bite them when they're painted. Quote
Unstream Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Nah painting nails is fine :P Though those attachable nail things are kinda weird. Especially if you find them in random places. I bite my nails all the time too though. Mostly cause I hate it when they're long xP Quote
livvy Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Attachable nails ARE weird. I've used them before, just to see how they felt, and they felt really strange. I don't like them. And if one of them comes off, it looks really weird, so you have to take the other 9 off too, and then you're left with your own boring nails anyway. Quote
Wembly Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 *mock ghetto accent* You'd BETTER not insult nail-painting, boy. I LIKE painting my nails, so you'd better not start talking smack about nail polish.* Hahaha! I cired a bit because I found this statement so funny. :laughingsmiley: Quote
jumpingbeans Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Let's not get in another arguement, okay? I don't want to deal with it again. I completely agree with Ruto's statement. Arguments are bad. Quote
Tyler. Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 that was 3 years ago I'm sick and bored D: Quote
Divya Bean Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I dont wear wigs or dye my hair. I am completely natural!! b) But I do paint my nails. So does that make me unnatural? :ohno: Quote
Tyler. Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I'm a guy so I don't fit into this conversation... Quote
jumpingbeans Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I don't fit in either. But Tyler, since you're here, go to the HAMS front page and put Lego Man and Gemkitty as recruits. Quote
Luciana Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Wait, Luciana, I thought you hated soda. So why is it in your avvie (it looks like soda to me). Woah sorry for the late reply. I left right after I posted that. + Yep, I hate soda. Don't let anything make you think otherwise. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 So you hate soda, but you have a soda avatar? Odd... Quote
livvy Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 YOU'RE SO UNNATURAL, BEAN! *throws nature at Bean* Much better. b) ... For some reason, I seriously read "avatar" as "water." Glad I could amuse you so, Wembly. :D EDIT: Livvy was clearly not in her right mind upon posting the top line. Please excuse her. Quote
jumpingbeans Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Hey, you hit me instead! That hurt! Quote
Spritzie Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I don't think there's anything wrong with someone who dyes their hair. (I do. I wanted a change. I'd been blonde all my life) It doesn't mean they're saying anything against what they were born with. Wigs, I don't think people often wear wigs for the fun of it, most just wear it when they've lost hair, after chemo or something. Or if they want a drastic change for a day or something. It's not a big deal, I don't think. And I used to love painting my nails. Now I can't be bothered. Quote
livvy Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Err, oops! So sorry, JB. *picks up nature and shoves back into container* Um... Have a cookie? Quote
jumpingbeans Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I don't wear wigs, paint my nails, get dyes, etc. I've just got natural stuff. Edit:I'll take the cookie! Quote
