See, it's weird, because math singular sounds fine to me, but mathematic singular sounds ridiculous. I'm not even sure it's a word.

I don't ever need to say math in plural. I just twist the sentence to make "math". Like saying, "This problem needs different kinds of math."

Has anyone ever been on the computer so long they fell asleep at it mid-sentence? I remember doing that about three times total now.

I have done that multiple times. I wake with the noise, of my brother telling me to shut down my laptop.

I did this before, except I was using the internet through my wii. I was on my guild's board and I fell asleep in the middle of typing a reply in bed. It felt like I rolled over and HOURS had passed by. XD

Yes. It's an odd sensation. The last time I remember doing that, all I had of my sentence was "Wh". I didn't even have a full word.

And there was the time I fell asleep while typing and woke up with a burn on my arm.

A burn D: I have a cooling mat for my laptop. I'm not using it now and my lap is really hot.

I hate when my laptop starts cooling down by sending hot air out the sides. It burns the hand I have on the mouse. =/

Y'know, as long as the laptop stays under 100 degrees Celcius, it's okay. The highest mine's ever gotten was 87, and that was from playing an MMORPG. Normally, it stays under 50 (which is actually still pretty hot - 122 degrees Fahrenheit :P)

I just grabbed my cooling pad. It's fans actually make my laptop cold on the bottom.

EDIT: My 2000th post. I'm an FM! :P

I don't have a cooling pad. It's never really been a problem for me. And I don't usually tend to put my laptop on my lap :P

If you have a Mac, I'd recommend installing the iStat Pro widget. It lets you monitor the temperature of various parts of the computer and see how fast your fan's spinning too (mine tends to stay at 2000 rpm o_O).

Haha congrats Noog :P

Thanks Master Will

I don't have a Mac. I like it more than windows/microsoft, but they charge WAY too much. I would never save up enough of my own money for one.

I'm not really sure what system I have, but whatever it is, it works. *shrug*

Spiffy for you, Ryan.

Does Theo now have the second most posts in the games forum? (Only reason I can think you'd be apologizing. o_O)

I have 1700 or so. It kinda feels like more than that.
