IrishLiz Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I like Grant too. It was funny when they tested capsaicin cures (that's the chemical that makes food spicy) and Grant couldn't handle hardly anything, poor guy. Grant had jalapenos and was dying, and in order to be comparable, Tory had Habaneros. :laughingsmiley: I like CSI: NY the best, and I like CSI too. CSI: Miami is way to corny. I only like the intros because they're funny. Sometimes the science bugs me though when it's wrong. I like some reality TV shows like Top Chef and Amazing Race. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 :laughingsmiley: Exactly. That's what I meant by coming to my office. That sounds awesome. Let's do that. :laughingsmiley: Quote
Noog Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Tsk Tsk Spritzie, it's just a joke :P Oh! Amazing Race is another GREAT one (mostly for my love of social studies) but I never know when it's on :/ I was watching reruns of like 2 straight seasons one day and it was awesome :D Quote
Spritzie Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 But! But! Okay. We'll just have to come up with something else fun then... Quote
IrishLiz Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I like it because it's interesting to see all the difference places - I would love to be able to travel like that - and to see how peoples relationships get stronger (or sometimes weaker) during the race. EDIT: I feel like that sometimes toom Spritzie. Quote
Spritzie Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I have watched a little bit of Amazing Race. I think that's the best reality show, in my opinion. Quote
Noog Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 One particularly rememberable Amazing Race place was India. One season they went to a temple where monkeys live in the courtyard, and they had to prepare a feast of particularly placed fruit in the middle of the monkeys without them messing it up :D I always love how they give the 1st place pair a head start but it never helps.... Quote
Spritzie Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 It looks like an interesting show. I might have to watch it more. Quote
Noog Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 You should, but I don't watch CBS on a regular basis so I don't know when there's a new season. I am watching Big Brother USA on CBS 3 times a week though. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Amazing Race is a great show. I like watching game shows. My favorite will always be Who Wants to be a Millionare. Wammy, Friend or Foe, Weakest Link, and others are good too. Deal or No Deal was good, but it has declined. Quote
IrishLiz Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I used to think that Whammies were hilarious when I was a little kid. Quote
Wembly Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 The whammies are pretty funny, we actually have that game for the Wii which is pretty amusing but my favorite all time game show is the Match Game, from the 70s, hilarious, don't know if many people know about it though, its on the game show network. Quote
IrishLiz Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I've seen it before, I think. Is that the one with all the "celebrities" and the contestants have to match the celebs? Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I'm always watching GSN. It's got awesome game shows. Weakest Link, Family Feud, Millionare, Lingo. Yup, I watch it all. Quote
Wembly Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Yeah, there's a fill in the blank question that you have to answer and you have to match the most celebrities answers to win. And speaking of filling in the blank...look at the sketch for my latest blumaroo day drawing...yes that was a stretch but I feel the need to share. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 So do I. I also watch the old Deal or No Deals, when the show was good. Downfall is a good show. Quote
livvy Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 That's adorable, Wembly! I like it. ^_^ And I totally understand feeling the need to share. Are you planning to color it? Quote
Noog Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I've never heard of Downfall. I remember one show that had something to do with "Dogs" and when you lost you went to the dog pound. I used to watch that on GSN. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Are you talking about Dog Eat Dog? That was another good show. Downfall works a bit like Millionare, you answer questions to win money and prizes. If you take too long, a prize drops off the conveyer belt and falls 20 stories down to the ground. If the money falls, the player is dropped with it. All this is hosted by WWE Superstar, Chris Jericho. Quote
Wembly Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 The dog pound show was annoying because of all the barking or 'who-who'ing they did. That's adorable, Wembly! I like it. ^_^ And I totally understand feeling the need to share. Are you planning to color it? Haha, sweet, thanks. Yeah, it definitely needs some color and a background of some sort but so far so good I think anyway. Quote
livvy Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Whenever the conversation turns to television, I feel so out of place, because I rarely watch television. And then weird pauses like this happen. So... unicorns, anyone? They're pretty cool. I don't much like Charlie, but some unicorns are cool. Or, more relevantly, GAH, stupid unregulatable room temperature! With the fan off, it's too warm, but with the fan on, my toes freeze. Mrrph. <_< Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 I am a dude, so unicorns are of the non-existant. Quote
livvy Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Then suggest another topic that does exist to you. I just said the first thing that came to mind. Quote
