Noog
Man, I would stay up so late to watch that. XD Staying up to watch that when I was like 9 was probably my training to stay up as late as I do now. :P I wish it still came on.
Wembly
Well the commentary was horrible for Extreme Elimination Challenge, but it was funny bad. Wipeout is just bad. Also, at the end, they did the Top 10 wipeouts (for lack of a better term :* ). That was the best part. MXC is hilarious. Wipeout, not so much. Their commentary is dumb. Liz, I think I know what you're talking about! It came on spike, and it was called EXC or something like that. There were two japanese men hosting, but EVERYONE in the show had really bad/funny english dubs :P They would have matchups between geeks or construction workers....but yeah, is that Extreme Elimination Challenge? :woot: Its definitely MXC Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. CAV of Gang Green
I love Wipeout. The commentary can be a bit too much at times, but altogether watching people fall on their faces is just funny.
IrishLiz
ah, I forgot that "Most" is in the title. Such a great show!
CAV of Gang Green
I've never seen this show, so I don't belong. *hids in corner*
Wembly
Its pretty much the same concept as wipeout but 80 thousands times more awesome. With probably about 20 thousand more hits to the face and falling with 37 billion times better commentary.
CAV of Gang Green
I don't know. Wipeout is one of the best shows I see on TV nowadays.
Wembly
Watch an episode of MXC and you will never again utter that sentence posted above.
CAV of Gang Green
Oh really now? Wipeout is one of my favorite shows. It's gonna take a lot to beat that.
livvy
Woah. MAJOR deja vu with this conversation. Like, the last 4 posts were in the deja vu. That was really weird. o_O (Also, belonging at TDN has nothing to do with the ability to comment on a certain subject. Which I suppose is good, because I've never seen either of these shows... )
Wembly
Haha, so I've had a lovely day today that I feel the need to share with you all. Today I managed to step in gum that somehow became stringy enough to wrap itself around my ankle, jam hand/fingers/wrist at various points in the day, get 2 flat tires on my bike, find out I get a lovely allergic reaction from too much seaweed attacking me in the ocean, slam my foot in the front door slicing it open and then proceeding to get soap in it while showering. livvy
My gosh, Wembly! That sounds like... an incredibly un-fun day! :sad01_anim: But, says Livvy Brightside, at least tomorrow pretty much has to be better, and you have two brand new tires on your bike. Wembly
Wembly, you are my hero. You are also 100% correct. :D Haha, thanks. There's one good thing from my day. My gosh, Wembly! That sounds like... an incredibly un-fun day! :sad01_anim: But, says Livvy Brightside, at least tomorrow pretty much has to be better, and you have two brand new tires on your bike. True story. IrishLiz
That sounds like no fun. How can gum even wrap around your ankle? :laughingsmiley: Yeah, like livvy said, tomorrow just has to be better. :)
livvy
Here's to tomorrow! I'll drink a non-alcoholic beverage to that!
CAV of Gang Green
I'll drink a Mountain Dew for that quote.
Wembly
That sounds like no fun. How can gum even wrap around your ankle? :laughingsmiley: Sounds impossible right? But yeah, I looked down and was just like Oh, oh, oh my o_O how did this just happen. But yeah, it must have been very stringy gum that was very hot so when I stepped in it, apparently it still stuck to the ground and my shoe then broke and the wind wrapped the end of it around my ankle :rolleyes_anim:
livvy
That really is rather remarkable, Wembly. *raises a glass of hot cocoa* To tomorrow! And the tomorrows after that! :)
Wembly
*raises a piece of toast* huzzah for toasts! And with that nonsense I am off to bed. May you have much nonsensical merriment in the forthcoming hours.
livvy
And may your tomorrow be as excellent as today was not. *waves* Bye Wembly! Hm... now that I think about it, why are they called toasts? Nothing is toasted. There is no toast involved.
IrishLiz
*raises a cup of tea* Did I miss the toast? :worried: Goodnight, wembly!
