When did you start cheerleading, Anisha? Here, there was no cheerleading in school, until HS. I knew quite a few girls that played basketball and did track in middle school. But as soon as we went to HS, and there was cheerleading, they went to that, and never looked back at basketball or track. :laughingsmiley:

Our HS starts at the age of 13, and I joined in at 14. :yes:

 

I miss basketball though. :/

I can't quack, but I make my throat vibrate like a frog :P It's not loud though.

 

I had trouble snapping until I was 7 because I thought you were supposed to use your index finger. Once someone told me I was doing it wrong, I got it immediately. XD

Hi everyone! It took me a while to go through the posts since last night.

 

Um, can we include '87 in the best age group with '85? :yes:

 

Oh and kids are growing up way too fast. My boyfriend's sister is starting sixth grade, and it's crazy some of the stories I hear.

 

I have a Samsung Exclaim or something like that. It opens up two ways. I got my first cell phone in high school when I was in the orchestra for the school play and didn't know what time I was going home each day. My mom got tired of me borrowing hers. :laughingsmiley:

haha, yeah here it's the 9th. Classes at the university start the 19th, but I have trainings, etc. starting the 9th. I'm going to TA a lab class this fall.

Yeah, Septmeber. Wow. I think kids around here start on the 25th or something. Not sure... I'm too old and my son's too young.

I can actually think of a friend at the moment who lives in Washington who starts school in October but doesn't get out until late June/early July.

 

I, on the other hand, am going back in 2 weeks.

That's a really short school year! Kids here get out about mid June, that's before too many snow days are factored in too. Wish I could go back, but it's just too expensive right now.
