Anisha
When did you start cheerleading, Anisha? Here, there was no cheerleading in school, until HS. I knew quite a few girls that played basketball and did track in middle school. But as soon as we went to HS, and there was cheerleading, they went to that, and never looked back at basketball or track. :laughingsmiley: Our HS starts at the age of 13, and I joined in at 14. I miss basketball though. :/ *stops foot twice, claps, and repeats* Buddy you’re a boy make a big noise Playin’ in the street gonna be a big man some day You got mud on yo’ face You big disgrace Kickin’ your can all over the place We will we will rock you We will we will rock you OMG!! I love that song!! :O *Sings along*
ΩCCΩ
My initials are still the same CC. :D I have a friend who can quack, yes, quack. SHE TAUGHT ME! *coughbutIsoundlikeasickduckcough*
Noog
I can't quack, but I make my throat vibrate like a frog :P It's not loud though. I had trouble snapping until I was 7 because I thought you were supposed to use your index finger. Once someone told me I was doing it wrong, I got it immediately. XD
Aidensmomma
This is a very strange thread. But I bet it moves faster than the new members boards! You couldn't snap your fingers but you can croak like a frog? Once again. Very strange.
CAV of Gang Green
Other than make a bee sound, I can't do much.
ΩCCΩ
Some are weird, some are strange and others are plain insane. Wanna join!
Aidensmomma
I can do a motorcycle sound with my cheek, but I'm lacking in the animal noise department.
Noog
I love how when I get off of my iPod and onto my laptop things slow down, but this topic is indeed usually fast paced :P oo! I just remembered another cool one :P I can make a sound like a water droplet hitting water :P
Aidensmomma
I was posting in the new members thread, but it was like watching paint dry, very slow.
Noog
Yeah everything in the new users forums is usually slow, but there has been a decent amount of new topics there.
IrishLiz
Hm, I tried to multiquote a bunch of things, and when I clicked to reply, they were all gone. Oh well. Hi everyone! It took me a while to go through the posts since last night. Um, can we include '87 in the best age group with '85? Oh and kids are growing up way too fast. My boyfriend's sister is starting sixth grade, and it's crazy some of the stories I hear. I have a Samsung Exclaim or something like that. It opens up two ways. I got my first cell phone in high school when I was in the orchestra for the school play and didn't know what time I was going home each day. My mom got tired of me borrowing hers. :laughingsmiley: Oh and Spritzie, that Clive Cussler book you mentioned sounds interesting.
CAV of Gang Green
Yeah. Try posting everywhere else. Things have been picking up speed in the Forum Games section.
Aidensmomma
You've read all the posts?? Oh I don't have time for that, I'm just jumping on in. I have to make sure my 2 year old doesn't climb on the t.v. stand... or the speaker... or the back of the couch. *Eh* speaking of, I'll be right back. t.v. stand. Noog
Yeah, toddlers can be difficult :P I try to read most of what happens here, but that's impossible if I leave for more than a day.
Aidensmomma
Even if I had started from the beginning chit chatting, I don't think I'd be able to keep up. Between work and my son, no chance lol
IrishLiz
I tried to catch up from when I left last night, and it was a lot. There were a few things I wanted to respond to, but I skimmed through a bunch. I probably won't be on here much after the next couple of weeks. Yay for grad school. Noog
I think that once it hits late september, when most US schools have started, the HOP won't move as fast.
-Ryan
September? Some kids get to start that late? T-T
IrishLiz
That's probably too. There's too much extra time in the summer. :) Well I have some errands to run. I'll be back later!
CAV of Gang Green
Those must be some lucky kids to start school that late.
IrishLiz
haha, yeah here it's the 9th. Classes at the university start the 19th, but I have trainings, etc. starting the 9th. I'm going to TA a lab class this fall.
Aidensmomma
Yeah, Septmeber. Wow. I think kids around here start on the 25th or something. Not sure... I'm too old and my son's too young.
Noog
I can actually think of a friend at the moment who lives in Washington who starts school in October but doesn't get out until late June/early July. I, on the other hand, am going back in 2 weeks.
Aidensmomma
That's a really short school year! Kids here get out about mid June, that's before too many snow days are factored in too. Wish I could go back, but it's just too expensive right now.
ΩCCΩ
My school will start in the middle of September.
