livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Sugar Cookie? Sleepy Time? I'm afraid you'll have to explain, Spritzie. o_0 Quote
Spritzie Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Celestial Seasonings does a bunch of flavored teas. (As well as black tea, green tea, white tea, and chai tea) The Sleepy Time has chamomile and other calming herbs and such in it. Here's their website: Celestial Seasonings Quote
Divya Bean Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I love tea! I love love love all flavors and herbs! But my favorite is Raspberry Tea. DELICIOUS!!!! Quote
Spritzie Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 My favorites are just plain Iced black tea. And then iced chai tea. Quote
Wembly Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Noo! I was just trying to get the better than you contest from last week and I missed it by 60 points, :grrr: so close Quote
Anisha Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Ouch! Only 60? That's painful. But don't worry, best of luck with the next one. I am poor at games. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I'm dead. I am completely dead. My brother put a huge glass of ice tea on the TV tray, and it was above my feet as I was laying down on the sofa. I came and I moved my leg a little bit, and it hit the tray. The ice tea just fell like a waterfall onto the sofa and my feet. I was able to wash my feet, but the sofa is drenched. And the fact that it went under the sofa and inside it as well doesn't help. I had to lie to dad in order to stall so my god sister can make it in time to help me. But what do I do when he gets here??? He barely lets me speak my side of the story. And I can't clean it up good enough to hid it. Good bye laptop. Goodbye video games. Goodbye life. And goodbye TDN. Seriously, WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!?!? Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Hm... I have completely lost my train of thought. Oh yes, I do remember. EDIT: Uh-oh. Well, you can wash a sofa, can't you? Is the sofa cover removable, possibly zipped on? Just wash it. Quote
-Ryan Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 -slaps CAV then grabs his shoulders and starts shaking him- CALM DOWN FIRST! Now, do everything you can to clean it up (Put towels all over it and weigh them down, then put more under the cushions and on the floor beneath it). Now, go do every chore possible and any super nice stuff you can think of to get him in a good mode. Then prepare your explanation and apology speech! Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I tried cleaning it with towels. It only dried up faster. And now it's starting to get sticky. I can't find any cleaning tools to use. Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Are you still at your grandmother's? You don't get to be a grandmother without knowing how to clean up after kids. Explain to her what happened and ask how to clean it up. Then as Ryan said, do everything you can to make up for it. Quote
Anisha Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 This happens a lot of time with me. :/ I once spilled hot chocolate drink on our T.V. Don't ask, everyone rained on me. And CAV, you have to face it, like I did, no matter what. :sad01_anim: Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 No. I've been home. I just go there because dad works during the day. Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I do believe Ani's right, unfortunately. Explain the situation as much as you can, don't point fingers, and accept punishment gracefully. Quote
Anisha Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 That's right, what Livvy said. You can't run, now can you? Everyone makes mistake. It won't be that bad, have faith. Quote
Noog Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I don't know about your dad, but my parents usually don't punish me as badly when I don't try to lie and cover it up. Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Noog has a good point. Honesty can't be punished; deceitfulness can. Don't multiply punishment. Sorry for the massive change of subject, but I need to ask this, and the thread I'd usually ask on is currently dealing with more pressing issues. How's that for shading on the wall? Someone mentioned it as a means to distinguish the floor from the wall. Quote
Anisha Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I nearly destroyed my T.V, so of course every one got mad at me. Even though I didn't really try to hide it. EDIT: Livvy, even though I am not an artist, but I like the shading on the walls. It gave it a natural look now. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I know I have to admit it. And it was all accidental, so no one can be blamed. It's just that I just got the laptop back, and now I'm going to lose it again, along with my games. This summer is being a boatload of crap. Quote

livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 It can't have been all crap. At least you don't have school, right? EDIT: Hm? Oh, I see what you mean. Um... that would be because I forgot to overlay brown. :P Thanks for reminding me. Quote
Anisha Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 My summer went crappy too. :/ Meh, I am just unlucky like that, grounded all the time. <_< Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Hm. Well I had a pretty decent summer. Busy, but less so than previous years. I suppose I haven't been home enough to get grounded. Being a goody-two-shoes doesn't hurt either. I'm sorry y'all are having bad summers. :( @Noog: Better? Quote
Anisha Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 The image looks better now, Livvy. And I know, my mom grounds me for no reason. :( It's true, being a teenager is like giving some sort of exam. Quote
CAV of Gang Green Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 It can't have been all crap. At least you don't have school, right? That means nothing when I have to go to my grandmother's everyday until midnight, I don't have my laptop, I can't play many games since I'm at my grandmother's all day, and the only place we went to so far is Dorney Park. I didn't even start on my break homework, and the summer is already half over. Quote
