IrishLiz Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 It does seem quiet around here. 12 hour shifts are no fun. I'm starting to have to do stuff for grad school and it's no fun. :sad01_anim: I'm in denial that I start the 9th. Quote
Spritzie Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I will be here. I'm only working a 6 hour day tomorrow. So I'll be gone halfway through the day. Though I'll probably end up on the laptop at home. :P Quote
livvy Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 I'm in denial about school starting too. Though for me it's just senior year of high school. Oh yay. ^_^ I would miss you if you didn't at least drop in and say hi. Quote
Spritzie Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Ugh. I just landed on the Potion on the Wheel of Excitement, and the Light Faerie healed my pets. When this happened to my husband, he sent in a bug report. They said they knew that some prizes were glitching, but they wouldn't be giving people the correct things. Quote
livvy Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 So they "fix" them and they get worse? ...I seem to be missing the logic there. Quote
Spritzie Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 It appears they haven't fixed it yet. He should have gotten a potion, but his pets got healed. And the same thing just happened to me. Quote
IrishLiz Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Hmm. I don't check those things. Maybe I should take a closer look... Quote
Spritzie Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 That's the only part I've seen it mess up the prizes. But I got all excited, because I figured they'd have fixed it by now. It's been over a week. Quote
Wembly Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Yeah, now that you mention it, I got that one of the first days it was working again and just thought oh, well thats mean that they are using a potion symbol for the light faerie <_< shows how much I pay attention... Quote
Spritzie Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 That would be horrible if they did that. It's clearly a MP, I would say. Quote
Noog Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 So they "fix" them and they get worse? ...I seem to be missing the logic there. We "saved" the wheels. No one said that they were fixed when they were remodeled :P Quote
Spritzie Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 We "saved" the wheels. No one said that they were fixed when they were remodeled :P That's so ironically... something. I'm not sure what. But it does sound possible with TNT sometimes. Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 And yet again, it seems we've hit the silent hour... Quote
-Ryan Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 I hate the silent hour. Dx What should we talk about? :O Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Hm... for some reason, the first subject that popped into my mind was snowshoes. :P But I can't talk about snowshoes, because I never have any occasion to use them! Though I would like to some day. Quote
-Ryan Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Snowshoes? What's the difference between those and regular shoes besides the "snow" part in the name? o.o Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 You know, those tennis racket things people strap to their feet to walk on snow. Like these: Quote
:)Doc Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Snowshoes are like rackets with shoes attached to the top of 'em, right? :guiltysmiley: EDIT: lol Livvy beat me to it xD Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Haha, sorry Doc. What can I say, I'm a part-time ninja. :shiftyeyes_anim: Quote
:)Doc Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Ohhh its fine. I'm just lurking tonight anyways :P Quote
IrishLiz Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 We don't use snowshoes in Arizona. They always make me think of cartoons. Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Do you get snow in Arizona? (Is that a silly question?) We clearly never use snowshoes in South Carolina, because we never get snow. I was thrilled with 8 inches this past winter. EDIT: Hehe, I looked at the Online List of who is where, and the user Batman was looking at "What have you rescued today?" :P That amused me. Quote
-Ryan Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Oh, those! :O Up in the mountains we do. I went to Prescott last spring, first time i've seen snow in person. :O Quote
livvy Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 You do use them? :O *is excited* What do they feel like? Do they work? Do they make it easier to walk on the snow? *pelts you with questions* Quote
-Ryan Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Me? No, never actually seen those before except for on google. xD Edit: EDIT: Hehe, I looked at the Online List of who is where, and the user Batman was looking at "What have you rescued today?" That amused me. LOL. xD Oh and this is random but, i'm very happy because it rained today. That's twice now! ^^ -missed the rain- Quote
