Mouseykins Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 (edited) Ok so I'm working on my really boring math assignment and I have to collect data on a topic of my choice. My topic is: How many hours on average do you sleep at night? For example I get about 9 hours of sleep each night. If you all can help me out with this I'll be thrilled! Thanks! :) EDIT: I would like at least 6 more numbers so please post and thanks again! :) Edited October 9, 2011 by Mouseykins

Mouseykins Posted October 9, 2011 Author Posted October 9, 2011 Oh! This reminds me of statistics! :D On average, I get about 7 hours of sleep each night! Is that what I am supposed to do? Yes unfortunately it's statistic. Easy but boring.
persephoniekali Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 8 hours typically -- it would be longer, but i'm awakened every morning by a little voice calling my name... ^_^
Ruka Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Yes unfortunately it's statistic. Easy but boring. I know right! And it's gonna be tested in my examinations! XP I'm sorry if this was off topic!

Sweetdang Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Urgh, statistics. <_< Get ready for this: On average, I sleep about 7-8 hours per day. School days, I am a student. However, during the exams period, this goes down to about 4. Over the weekends, It's about 9-12. And during the holidays, it can range from 4-15. Then there are days (exam, or test) when I sleep for 2-3. Hectic, I know. :P
Tedhaun Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 I normally sleep for 6 to 8 hours a day in the afternoon, I occasionally oversleep and end up resting for 10 or 12 hours max.
rachiee Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 On an average school night, I get 6 to 8 hours of sleep. On a Friday or Saturday night (or a weekday where I don't have school the next day) however, I usually get 8 or 9 hours.

Alice ☮ Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Well... I sleep 6.5 hours a night on week nights. And 9.5 hours on weekends... So the average per night would be [ (5 x 6.5) + (2 x 9.5) ] / 7 = ~7.36 hours per night in an average week.
Welcome Back Apathy Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 7 hours, on average. I always wake up same time no matter what--I have a fantastic internal clock.

jumpingbeans Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Lemme see...Go to bed at about 10:15, wake up at 6:30 (on average), that's...8 hours and fifteen minutes.
