I hate this! We all worked so hard! We deserve something better! I tried so hard and got so far... in the end, it doesn't even matter! Xerophyte Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 I don't see why so many people are so upset about the prize.Yes, it isn't valuable or that useful, but that's to be expected because we failed the challenge. We don't get rewarded for failing. The community challenge only took about 15 minutes a day for me. Clicking a bunch of links and looking through the previews to see if you've found something isn't really that hard and/or time consuming. Ok, it might have taken only 15 minutes a day, but many people are in their exam or study period now and could have spent their time doing something more productive... I didn't collect my last price, I was waiting to see how the skirt and hat look but oh well, I would have taken the book anyway and its not a big deal^^ I wasn't participating in the community challenge either... They could've released the Neggs at a higher frequency/rate if they really wanted us to find them. I'm sure that at every minute, at least 1/4 the pages in Neopia are being visited.... I almost had one of my friends change my password so I wouldn't procrastinate (couldn't give up the site though, haha!). Anyway, when we still needed a million on the last day I kinda knew it wasn't going to happen. We were very close, but not everybody participated which is part of the reason why we were short of 5 mil by the end, another may have been that there just weren't enough neggs!
