How long have you been playing Neopets?

I used to play Neopets when I was younger - a teenager - but I haven't played since, so how long have you been playing? Have you taken breaks and played again?

I started playing on November 25th 2003. Since then I've been on and off neopets on different accounts. That's 7 years+ :)

I've been playing on and off for about 7 years now. I quit when I lost two accounts (I forgot the password for one and had the other one hacked) but started again recently.

I've been an on-and-off Neopets player for nearly six years.

I played very frequently for a little over a year and took a hiatus from fall 2006-July 2007, when I found the password to my main account.

(Yes, it was a big shock when I returned to see the new layout and customization. :P)

Then, around January 2008, I stopped playing as much as I used to, and it's been that way ever since.

And now, I'm trying to get hopelessly addicted to Neopets again. c;

Almost 9 years on 2 different mains (original got frozen). I too took a few years' break around the time customization was introduced. I think I like it more now. Though I'm kinda bummed I missed out on the plots during the times I was inactive.

I made my first account April 19th 2001 (which is now lutari day!! but it wasn't back then). Played for a few months, then quit until about 2006, when I made my current account. Played that summer, then quit until last spring. And I've been back ever since, for more than a year now! :D

Hmm, with different accounts 8 years? Except, it's kinda been random spouts of neopet-addiction. Like, random years/periods of time I get really into it. I just started playing again a couple months ago after a 3 year hiatus.

Wow, I just looked and it will be 10 years on May 5. I can remember when my friend sent me my first pet. Anyway, I played for a year or so and then was off till about two years ago when I had a lot of free time and I have been on daily ever since.

too long...ever since 2001. funnily, i didn't really get interested until i was a lot older. i guess i just didn't have the attention span for it when i as younger. ^_^

I have been on Neopets since April 2002, so I've been on for 9 years now.

On and off, probably about 9 or 10 years? But a large majority of that was off. :P I only recently got back into it again and I hadn't played since I was 8 or 9! I can't believe how different it is, took me a while to get used to all the customisation, NC etc. I'm really not a fan of the Neopets clothes or the whole NC notion. I don't really even like any of the newer Neopets that much! :laughingsmiley:
