SarafinaWolf7
If you receive a e-mail from someone named josh ([email protected] or [email protected]) - it says It's from neopets so you have to check - with this content: Hi there, You have a special NeoGreeting waiting at : This message has been sent from Neopets, the biggest, and fastest growing virtual pet site on the Internet! It's a fake Login page. I know about this because I fell victim to it. I'm trying to get my main account back. Luckily they didn't touch my side. I found info on the scam at Jellyneo Forum. ETA: They changed the email on my main. What do I do?!? They also added two accounts to my e-mail address. One is frozen and the other is in the process of being registered (I think). hrtbrk
Change your email password, if they haven't already. If you use GMAIL, it will show their IP. *Additionally, to reduce the risk of these being sent to you, you can DISABLE being sent Neogreetings in your Email Pref on Neopets. :)
SarafinaWolf7
Change your email password, if they haven't already. If you use GMAIL, it will show their IP. I also had problems logging into my e-mail (on gmail) so I wasn't able to change the e-mail password until now. Where do I see the IP? How will the IP help? Oh-uh! I have a Neopets Lost PIN e-mail that I did not request. They can get everything!
hrtbrk
You can report it to TNT if you submit a ticket, saying that your email showed them under this specific IP address. Maybe they can match it up in their logs to help prove it wasn't you. (Just something I heard off of the boards - not sure it actually helps your case) If you scroll down, it will say this: You are currently using 189 MB (2%) of your 7516 MB. Last account activity: 13 hours ago at this IP (IP HERE). Then there should be a details button will all the info.
Viridian
Send in a ticket to TNT, for sure. They will know how to deal with this. Also I edited your post since the fake login pages were still being linked to. Always when clicking a link, look at the bottom of your browser and check whether it is actually linking there or whether it is linking to somewhere else! In this case it led to another page. Always check carefully. Sorry about you losing your account :(

Three IP addresses from United States (where I definitely did not sign in from). Which ticket do I submit? (I'm new at this) Send in a ticket to TNT, for sure. They will know how to deal with this. Viridian
You go to help, request support, submit a ticket. Issue type is scammed. Just fill out the form.
SarafinaWolf7
Okay I'm filling it out. What's "Summary"? The details of the scam?
Viridian
Yes I guess so, tell them you clicked a link in an email and fell for a fake login page ( i think? did you have to log in?)
SarafinaWolf7
Yes I guess so, tell them you clicked a link in an email and fell for a fake login page ( i think? did you have to log in?) Yes. That's what happened. Oh man I don't remember the things that they're asking! Anybody who's Neofriends with me, please tell me.
jumpingbeans
Can you still get into your main account? If so, self-freeze it. I'll try and find you a link.
SarafinaWolf7
Can you still get into your main account? If so, self-freeze it. I'll try and find you a link. No I can't. My password doesn't work and they changed the e-mail address as well. I checked by asking Neopets to send me all my usernames and Passwords, and my main account wasn't there. This is the reason I'm filling out a ticket.
hrtbrk
Yes. That's what happened. Oh man I don't remember the things that they're asking! Anybody who's Neofriends with me, please tell me. Things that will really help you is if you remember the original email address that you signed up with - and names of pets that you've created/pounded/zapped etc. If you know of any specific items in your SDB, that will also help. If you've ever won a PB from Key Quest, say what - anything like that. The most recent avatars that you got - a good one would be what item you bought to get the Dark Lurker avatar etc. Anything to prove that it's you. SarafinaWolf7
Okay, here's my ticket. Tell me if it's good, or if I need to change/add anything. Removed to keep your personal info safe. I don't remember my Neofriends, so if anyone is my Neofriend, please tell me. EDIT: I added the items equipped to Honote_7 and sent it in. I hope I get it back. Everything is on that account. EDIT 2: Can I do things (dailies, games, etc) on my Side account until my Main is mine again? BEE.
Oh wow, that's terrible. I hope you can get your main account back! Good Luck, [:
SarafinaWolf7
Oops! I'm being so thoughtless now. I'm still a little angry at my self for falling for the scam. The first thing scam guides tell you is to make sure it's not a fake Login page. On the other hand, it was Friday afternoon and I was busy getting ready for Shabbos, so I wasn't pay attention. Also other people fell for the scam (over at Jellyneo) ETA: I figured out that the two accounts (from the Neopets Lost Username e-mail) are mine. Masaryk
You can absolutely do your dailies and play games on a side account until you get your main back. You are very likely to get your account back quickly. You have done everything right.
Kuroida
I hope you get your main account back! I would honestly kill someone if I lost mine....*goes to disable email neogreetings* *edit: umm...how do I do that? o.0 I'm such a noob -_-
hrtbrk
Modify Account Info > Email Preferences > Site Greetings (e-cards) BLOCKED Although if they're getting your email from somewhere and sending it to you, it might be useless. At least you know it's not from Neopets. Thanks for the answer and support guys. I hope I get my account back soon.
Viridian
Good luck! I don't think you were my neofriends, and all my neofriends got deleted yesterday so I can't be certain either. You can play dailies on your side until you have your main back!
Shane for Wax
Yeah I've gotten these too but ignored them. Always seemed fishy since I doubt anyone would be sending me anything.
