I got the impression that it would scroll. With AtoA, there didn't seem like that many spots at first, too.

If it's only 6 chapters, that means it ends in 2 weeks... mid-October. Hopefully it will go on a bit longer.

I guess that Jazan turned Faeries into stone. He is really aggresive to Hanso and never believes him. But it's just my opinion.

I just completed it and got all the achievements. I'm ashamed to say it took me hours! I have one question though... when I picked up the books, I thought there was a message about solving the puzzle. I assumed it meant the books had puzzles inside them, but was it referring to the library game as the puzzle? And the books can't actually be used right now?

Oh I hope it's not a mini-plot... :( I would so like to be around for a full plot. I never have been. And who says two things can't go on at once?

i did notice a oddity. the library url had the word "halloween" in it. could this somehow be sliding into a brand new ToW plot? {tale of woe plot just encase people dont grok what i am saying}

 

Funny that you say that, cause I found it strange that the books you get in the library are all like Halloweeny type books.

 

And Athene, what it means is the book you picked up will show up in your inventory once you have completed the rest of the library puzzle correctly by getting out the door with all of the artifacts.

God, I finally did it! I was scared that tonight a new chapter would be released and i might loose the track...

I hope it's a long plot, the begining it's promising, It took me a cuple of hours to do it, not like AotA that took seconds to do anything!

 

I can only guess but there are 3 king already involved, I wonder if Meridell is going to appear too, culd it be a massive villain association? :laughingsmiley:

I kept picking up the books and then not getting them in my inventory and was getting mad. Then I figured out that I was only grabbing a few of the glowing artifacts before I got out the door. Once I picked up ALL of the glowing artifacts with the extra book and left the library the book showed in my inventory. Try again, remembering to get all the artifacts, and see if that helps. :)

Nerd, there are a lot of helpful hints here. Just keep at it and eventually you'll get it. Also remember that the books aren't necessary; they're just bonus. Only the deeds are necessary.

It took me 4 or 5 times to get all the way through. I got the first two achievements, but I'm still after the last one.

 

Then it took me about 24 more times and two hours to get the last one.

Haha it can be very frustrating to try and finish this game. It took me a gazillion times to get out with the books and then only one time to finish without the books :']

On the TNT front page is says that there are four achievements--the first being to "Get all the items and get out"--does that mean all of the bonus prizes AND artifacts? Am I going to be penalized for not doing that first do you suppose?

No, you won't. The books are merely bonus; only the artefacts are plot crucial. As long as you have all three deeds (under the larger deed, I suppose) lit up, then you've done all you need to do.

I recommend you go through and get all the artifacts first. Then try to pick up books. If you need to make a hasty exit and leave a few items behind, at least the ones you've gotten will still count!

AS I've said before, plan your moves out. I got all three "Fearless Deeds" or whatever within 2 hours.

 

Basically, make a complete circle, collecting things in your way. Sure, you might get stuck a few time, but there's always a way out.

I managed to get all 3 achievements in 2 tries

In my opinion there should be an achievement for collecting all the bonus books, but whatever.

I can't wait for chapter 3 !!!

Although "halloween" is the url for the haunted woods and the Tales of Woe plot ended kinda open, I doubt this plot has to do with it.

Up until today I didn't know there was an interactive task. Being the forever pessimist, I thought it would be impossible to beat. But I managed to best it in ten minutes, and still have one more book to collect.
