In order to get that particular one, Shaymin, you had a couple of choices in the past. 1. Go to a gamestop or another pokemon event site like toys r us during a specific event week and let them give "Oak's Letter" to you. You can get it after you get oak's letter. 2. Go see the movie about Giratina and Shaymin in Japan, where you recieved Oak's Letter for your game. If you really want it, you can just crack the game with an Action Replay. Dialga and the lake legendaries are the only ones I got WITHOUT the AR in Diamond. Since I lost Sapphire and I was unable to trade my pokemon to Diamond, I had to use AR to get them back. The last I played was when me and my cousin teamed up in the Battle Arcade and got some really easy Battle Points than what you would usually earn playing by yourself :O @Quark: I know of feeling on having a really cute pokemon be unobtainable D: *loves Mew* but Pokemon is really fun after you get used to the basics and learn to battle =D Platinum was good for me and a bit cheaper now...but since I was born with the original games, I would prefer SoulSilver or HeartGold more for newcomers ^_^ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you've all ready finished there and it's sealed off, you can't get it. If you haven't, then explore all the teleporters. I forget which exactly gets you to the room with it in there. You can get Lugia and Ho-oh on both, but it's just a matter of what point in the game. I'd say both games are solid and a great improvement, but they're still lacking in play after the elite four. No one "hacks" pokemon games. They crack them. And CAV, using an Action Replay is not fair to the other side who actually spent time doing what you did instantly. Action Replay is considered a crack. BUT (big but) You crack into the game to get every legendary. So for someone who is playing soul silver and not able to get all legendaries, facing someone who has hacked to get every legend. That's fair play. That's why i hate anything like Action Replay. It makes the game not fun. Instantly getting what you haven't earned in any game. How can someone be a Video game addict, when they crack into the games. True Gamers achieve without cracking. But that's just my view.
