discount at Hidden Tower?

I read somewhere that if your account was over a certain age you could get a 3% discount at the Hidden Tower. Does anyone know how this works or if its true? Thanks in advance!

Yes, it's true. The second last Wednesday of the month gets you the 3% discount. :) I believe it's only accessible to accounts older than 60 months.

 

The next one will be April 21st.

I didn't know that either. I'll have a look on the 21st - see if I can afford anything even with the discount. But even a 3% discount when the prices are so high would make quite a difference!

3% is 30k discount per million NP the item would originally cost. That's pretty hefty, worth a couple of days interest for people who have 10-50 million np in the bank.

Great opportunity to get your avatar. I just bought a baby paintbrush and sold it for 8k more than what I bought it for in less than a minute. If I had more time, I would definitely do it again, but I usually like to make my neopoints the old fashioned way.

I just wandered there and couldn't find baby paintbrush or anything of below 1mil...I know I'm stingy but I don't know how much these things will sell for and I don't want to take the risk. Baby PB is a sure fire sell.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy anything but the Baby PB either. It's just the easiest way. You know you're going to get your money back pretty much right away. Keep looking. I just went in again and saw it there.

Just didn't buy it as I was saving my NP for something else.
