Ian
Hello all, Recently The Daily Neopets has encountered some downtime for several hours at multiple times during the day. If you ever visit thedailyneopets.com and get no response ("server not found" or something), rest assured knowing that we will be back soon. Right now, we haven't isolated the problem precisely, but we are talking with our server technicians at our datacenter to resolve this issue permanently. TDN is here to stay! b) Thanks for visiting. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. If we go down again, we'll be back! Server is popping bubbles! Best, Ian

Ruto
:O You're back! I had so much free time without TDN that I didn't know what to do. :O
Noog
I think the staff went more insane than usual because of the downtime. (and that is saying something!) We were probably more bored than the other millions of people that use the site. Hopefully we won't have much more downtime in the future.
celticheavens
Hope whatever that's causing this issue will be fixed soon. I thought it was my internet crashing for an instant (which occurs rather frequently might I add). Till then bored TDN staff, go spend some time outside! :P

Noog
Curse you downtime!!!! Another forum I'm in has been offline for a while due to hackers. :( TDN downtime has nothing to do with hackers, rest assured. Let's hope that we aren't attacked by the hackers. antiaircraft
*sticks up hand* Guys! Please don't misuse the term 'hacker'. See this topic. Don't ask me why, but I have a sneaking suspicion this downtime is being caused by a faulty power supply...

antiaircraft
Till then bored TDN staff, go spend some time outside! :P *peers outside* It's haze season here in East Malaysia... and this year's smog is worse than usual. No way I'm going outside without a gas mask.
shiranui_xiii
I assumed it was a problem on my end. I just got rid of my dial-up accelerator a couple days ago (couldn't afford it), and that's when the problems started for me. So I assumed it was connected to that, but at least it's not my computer. Thanks for keeping us informed!

Don't ask me why, but I have a sneaking suspicion this downtime is being caused by a faulty power supply... Well, then everyone can rest assured that we were not attacked by morons. Or "crackers". Till then bored TDN staff, go spend some time outside! :P lets see, over 100 degrees and nothing to do at the moment but look at trees grow and lizards change color. I think I made the right decision to just be constructive and do other things that I usually forget to do. Like my summer homework.

No way I'm going outside without a gas mask. The air quality fell a fair bit here in Singapore too =/ Horrible especially for those with asthma like me. -.- No sports till then! And the sun is good!!! Vitamin D anyone? I am assuming that there won't be too many downtimes now then? XD
