Byndley Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I'm just curious as to what everyone's favorite balls were. Personally I like the Fire one, for it is easiest for me to score with. My least favorite is the snow one, because I'm really bad with it. :) Please post why you chose what you chose!

Guest HBK Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Yeah, the fire ball is indeed my favorite one: fast and furious, whizzing towards the goal. My least favorite is Faerie, since it's so irregular to score with, you actually have to position yourself exactly perpendicular to the goal, or it won't curve around the goalkeeper and go into the net. Also, distance is important, neither too close, nor too far. Darigan, actually, is really easy to score it, since it goes in the opposite direction, so it's predictable. Only problem sometimes the is the miscalculation of distance, which makes it hit the post or go to the sidelines.

heerozero Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 I'm horrible with the Snow Ball. Faerie was my worst for a while last year, but then my friend showed me the right place to position the player. It got MUCH easier after that. Too bad I've forgotten where it since then...hopefully I can find it again through trial and error.

Ali Cat Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Yep, the fire yooyu is the best ^_^ Easiest to score with because it's so fast. The mutant one annoys me so much! If I get that one, I usually spend most of the game trying to get it in; I can usually get all the other yooyu's in since there's a specific course they take.

The Darkest Faerie Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 My favourite has to be Faerie. I don't like the fire, but it isn't my least favourite. My least favourite is the mutant. It can do a random type of move it can choose... like opposite directions and going in a curve. I don't like it when I expect the faerie yooyu behaviour, but it does darigan instead. It seriously annoys me.

The faerie ball is still decent against other teams, but against 2+2, it really takes the cake. I despise the snow yooyu. Too slow! And the mutant one annoys me too, just because it's too unpredictable. I'll have it perfectly set up for one kind of behavior, and it'll pull a darigan on me. >.<

I mean, with a bit of practice, you'll be able to remember where to be to shoot, and it gets really easy. The one I dislike most is mutant. It's so random, and you can never know if you'll make it.
grape_slushie Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I also like the Fire Yooyu. Two of my least favorite balls are the Mutant and the Darigan Yooyu. Otherwise I'm okay with the others, though I do sometimes have trouble with the Snow Yooyu. :(

Kyra Trebon Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I like the normal, fire, and snow ones. They are wicked easy to score with, and I have found them to be the easiest. The hardest ones for me are the mutant and robot. Anyone have any tips for them? Especially mutant...it drives me nuts!!!
