hrtbrk Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Apple accidentally leaked the amount of downloads from iTunes and Kris was WAY higher than Danny, so it's no surprise that he made it. Danny is a good singer, yes, but that's all he showed on the show. No growth, not much change, where as Kris did both. As for the winner, I could not care less. They usually fade away come July.

Maybe it's because I don't live in America but I doubt it lol The only real contestants, who didn't win, who has had a successful career are Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry. You could possibly chuck in Nikki McKibbin for being on Celebrity Rehab and Ace Young for being on Bones? LOL jk So I'd say there's four successful AI contestants out of 95 people lol

It should be Danny vs Adam in the finals though. Kris is sweet & cute, but he doesn't have the vocal chops that Danny or Adam have. Really Kris should have been out before Alison, it was just totally ridiculous that she got sent home before him. The girl judges favor the boys big time. All that said, it's been pretty obvious that Adam was going to win for a while, I think he tries too hard, but he puts on show and he's an amazing singer.

Yeah, but see, it's because they're not... different? They are just basically that mainstream crap. Eventually people get sick of it and want something new. They just sound too generic. They judges made it very obvious they wanted Alison gone on her last judging, and they never gave her voice proper credit. Like the week that they talked about her outfit instead of her singing, even though she was totally and completely amazing that week. I mean it's not that they didn't like her, they just didn't like her as much as the boys, and they wanted her off. p.s. Was anyone else ticked that they used the judges save on Matt? I never liked him.

Even if that person was amazingly good, they'll probably go on and get their own record deal and not be tied down by AI's deal. And Ryan's always eager to jump on "historic" events. xD

I mean there were years in the past were I would have loved to have seen them use it, but now that I see it in action I don't think the judges are smart enough to save the right people, so I kind of want it done away with. I hear rumors about Simon leaving this show to start a new reality TV show. He says his schedule is too packed and he needs to cut back. Do you guys think he is really going to leave? I'm not sure about that show without Simon they would have to get someone really good to replace him... I kind of hoped when, I saw Kara on the show, that Paula was leaving. I'm so sick of her comments that mean nothing and goofing around / wasting time. p.s. I'm a pretty hardcore A.I. fan in case you couldn't tell, LOL.
